It was really windy yesterday morning, and it was below freezing, and I went outside with wet hair, because sometimes I’m an idiot

It’s very cold and icy here. The main roads and highways have black ice so it’s pretty tricky to drive. The local roadsare snow covered

It was 10 degrees F yesterday and this morning it’s 7F.

The wind also makes the car swerve a bit, so I didn’t know if was on ice or wind doing that.

What I do know is that I had to peel my hands off the steering wheel when i got home from the death grip I drove with.☺️

Keeping all who are driving in my prayers today, stay safe.

The weather is cold. We were supposed to start warming up today. Now we are to get to 29F and 22F tonight. (Believe it when I feel it.) The warm up is now scheduled for tomorrow but with freezing rain and sleet on Monday morning (the day of my test at the hospital).

Basically, I’m not trusting the weather people anymore and going back to the tried and true. Open the door and see how it feels to the skin.
 
When I got up this morning, it was once again temperatures in the teens. I am glad I don’t live somewhere where it’s colder, but at the same time, I think most people can admit that 16 degrees Fahrenheit is pretty cold
 
Our current temperature is16F and feels like 7F. And they’ve just changed the overnight temp to 17F. I am sooo tired of this cold.
 
I look forward to Monday, when the high is supposed to be 51. It’s been a while.

I scheduled my test (to determine which surgery I’ll be having since there are two that can be performed) for Monday because the temperatures were to be warm. No snow. No rain. No ice. No nothing. They only put the freezing precip into the forecast last night on the 10pm forecast. We are not happy. With possible precip, I may have to cancel that appt if my friend can’t come and get me.
 
Its 76.6 F ,out mowing but that sun has a lot of kick to it 😓
Freezing rain is different to to sleet or hail ?

Yes it is. Freezing rain will cover pretty much everything in layers of ice. I’ve seen it make trees look like they are made of crystal. It is bad news for traveling and cause power outages etc.

Not as much as I’d like. We only keep heat on in the rooms we’re using. Kitchen and bathroom because of the pipes. The heat makes it to my room and Mama’s room. But we have wind coming through somewhere that I need to find so I can block it.

We’re supposed to get to the upper 60s by the end of the week and then 30s over the weekend (lows in the 20s those nights).
 
It is actually quite beautiful, especially if the sun comes out. But can be very destructive.
 
It actually wasn’t that bad here in South Carolina. Probably just going to be cold rain tonight.
 
Supposedly, it is 44F now with a feels like temp of 41F. I’ve been outside most of the day (since 2am). It feels like the upper 20s to low 30s to me.
 
It is around 75°F in Dubai. The weather is nice in the winter months. Summer is very very hot and humid.
 
66 degrees Fahrenheit here, the temperature was so cold, that it hasn’t been below freezing in two days, but we still have ice outside.
