This latest bout of Muslim persecution of Christians was prompted by a familiar narrative: one of the Coptic villagers, Ayman Youssef, was accused of posting cartoons offensive to Muhammad on his Facebook account.
Youssef is illiterate and says he lost his mobile phone a few days before the alleged Facebook posting.
Village elders and security representatives held a “conciliation session” and decreed that Youssef’s entire family—including 80-year-old father and 75-year-old mother—must leave the village in order for angry Muslims to calm down. The Christian family was even told by the village mayor Ahmed Maher that police “cannot guarantee their safety if they remained in the village.”
Pam Geller has been known to exaggerate and stretch the truth a bit. That’s one way of putting it. Another is that she just makes up stuff.Maybe she exaggerates.
I found that one weird, but the whole birther train was weird.Pam Geller has been known to exaggerate and stretch the truth a bit. That’s one way of putting it. Another is that she just makes up stuff.
She once ran blog posts claiming that President Obama was the illegitimate son of Malcolm X.
Indictment: Man helped plan Texas cartoon-contest shooting
A man has been charged with helping plan an attack on a provocative Prophet Muhammad cartoon contest in Texas that ended with two Phoenix men being killed in a shootout with police.
An indictment filed in federal court in Phoenix last week says that 43-year-old Abdul Malik Abdul Kareem hosted the gunmen in his home beginning in January and provided the guns they used in the May 3 shooting in Garland, Texas. The indictment also says others were involved, but no other arrests or indictments have been made.
The indictment said others were involved and this 3rd man helped plan the shooting. What if they all went to this same Mosque? That could put the number coming from this Mosque up quite a bit.
