If it’s a legally sanctioned hunt, who cares.
Not just the lions, but the elephants will really tear up a farm.If I lived in Africa I don’t think I’d be too happy about the lions.
It looks like baboon hunting is legal in Namibia.Concerning the First Article, Mr. Fischer and his wife did nothing illegal. It’s not stated what they did with the meat; however, I’ll assume that it was donated.
I am struggling to see how a Fisheries and Wildlife Commissioner engaging in a legal hunt for legal game should even look bad.I see it as very disturbing that people are bowing down to faceless and rabid Social Media mobs!
From what I read, Mr. Fischer was asked to resign by former Commissioners and the current Governor because what he legally did looked bad .
My Romanian Geology Professor put it well, “Americans have no idea how their food is procured but they’ll still eat it” “They’re completely out of touch with the process “.Shop in one of the millions of supermarkets.
Yeah, let’s just gloss over reality…Wouldn’t it be more cost effective to go to the store and purchase some ground meat and a few nice New York strip steaks?
If thinning the herd and getting food out of it equals enjoyment, sign me up!No, feeding your family is a by-product of your hunting. But at least admit, you’re doing it for the “joy.”
Not easy at all if you’re diabetic (which so many people are), when so many foods (beans, pasta, rice, most cereals, breads, all fruit, potatoes and some other veggies, etc.) must be limited or avoided because of the very high content of carbohydrates = sugar. Meat is high protein, mostly zero carbs. Unfortunately, I don’t like meat, but have to eat it.Humans need to eat meat - vegans have to do a lot of diet gymnastics to make sure they meet all of their nutritional needs without eating meat.
