Well, what if his claims are true in which they are? Seriously, what then?

Self-Righteousone:

Then his claims are true and I was wrong.

The key point is if though.

If Howard Storm’s personal experiences are suitable evidence for the truth of Christianity then Timothy Winter’s and Omar Sharif’s are also suitable evidence for the truth of Islam.

But they can’t both be true. Therefore your logic does not add up.
I am talking about Howard Storm but it seems you keep mentioning the word ‘Christianity’…

Howard Storm IS THE EVIDENCE.
You’ve just committed a formal logical fallacy (a la circular reasoning). This is your logic:

“What Howard Storm says is true because Howard Storm says it is true”.

That makes absolutely no sense. It is the equivalent of me saying that “Thor exists because Thor says he exists”.

Moreover, your own argument still doesn’t address the other problem.

Skavau sorry if I sounded bigoted its just that you haven’t been in this thread that long and haven’t had to put up with what we read from other Atheists. I’m only human and I’m sorry if I sounded like that after all I was a little angry.😦

I accept your apology. I also accept you may get atheists coming on here and running their mouths. I know that it is a problem firsthand. I see it a lot, especially on chatrooms.

They are an embarrassment.

A, why would this man, an avowed atheist even write a book about his experience if it were not true? Why would he all of a sudden become a minister from being an atheist if he were not 100% sure that God existed? Don’t you have an open mind?
Yes I do, just not so far open that my critical faculties fall out. His being sure does not make it ‘true’ any more than your certainty makes it true. If someone left the Catholic faith, would you accept that as proof that Islam was the one true faith?
If God did not exist, I wouldn’t feel this way in my heart.
Your feelings are not in control of reality. Your god does not exist, and you still feel that way. Others, who have other faiths which conflict with Catholocism, are also feeling things in their heart. Their testimonial is as valuable as yours.
You can feel the same way if you just one time said you believe in God. Just say it one time, out loud, by yourself and see what happens. Just try it.
Why would you suggest that I lie?

You know A, most if not all here on this forum truely feel Christ in their hearts.
When you want to use your feelings as if they were facts, you use the word ‘faith’. That doesn’t change the fact that it is only your feeling, and does not necessarily coincide with reality.

There is testimonial evidence that Catholicism is wrong and Judiasm (or Islam) is right. How much weight do you give to testimonial evidence again?
Where is this so called ‘testimonial evidence’? For every word you say Catholicism is wrong, I’ll show you thrice fold it is the true church.

Except this is like beating a dead horse.

I’m 18. I don’t have a wife.

An allegedly I am headstrong. You are not the first to say that.
Ok, so this explains how you really haven’t experienced any life to even form an appropriate opinion on my religion. Talk to you in ten years. (Maybe less)…

Then so is Omar Sharif.
We are talking about people who do not believe in any God. Omar has nothing to do with this. He left one faith and went to another. I am talking about atheists…don’t get off topic here.
