Hi

I think I had already stated that I don’t believe in any physical incarnation.

I love Jesus and Mary as mentioned in Quran.

Thanks
Why don’t you love Jesus and Mary as mentioned in the Bible? After all, if it weren’t for the Bible, Muhammad would never have been able to create Islam.

Hi

I would have loved Jesus the way you have suggested; but Jesus did not write the Bible; he never dictated it, he even did not authorize anybody to write for him and show him for approval. So the present Bible cannot be ascribed to Jesus, truthfully.

It was Paul- an enemy of Jesus and his followers; when Jesus went to India after the even of crucifixion in which he survived, in his absence Paul took over.

Paul imported or invented the Trinity at Rome; injected his strange ideas, never known to Jesus, into the anonymous books much later and name afterwards to Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Paul himself wrote some books; his associates cleverly put the above gospels in the start of the Bible, and rest in the end to give an impression that the things have been put in the chronological order. Paul hid his philosophy behind the four Gospels.

I would like to defend Jesus against strange ideas of Paul.

This is as I understand the things; others could differ with me with reason, no compulsion.

I therefore would on merit love Jesus and Mary as mentioned in Quran.

Thanks

Please quote your source that Paul is the origin of the Trinity.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trinity

Trinity

Since the beginning of the third century[4] the doctrine of the Trinity has been stated as "the one God exists in three Persons and one substance,

Tertullian, a Latin theologian who wrote in the early third century, is credited with using the words “Trinity”,[12] “person” and “substance”[13] to explain that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are “one in essence – not one in Person”.[14]

About a century later, in 325, the First Council of Nicaea established the doctrine of the Trinity as orthodoxy and adopted the Nicene Creed that described Christ as “God of God, Light of Light, very God of very God, begotten, not made, being of one substance (homoousios) with the Father”.

Paul the Apostle"s blessing: “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all” (2 Corinthians 13:14), while at the same time not contradicting the Jewish Shema Yisrael: “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord” (Deuteronomy 6:4).[1][16]

You limit God/Allah. He made the world and created everything, the mountains the ocean all living creatures. Yet you don’t believe that he has the power to become human flesh?
God actually has a living part of all creation even in the trees. He created Adam but couldn’t live in Jesus? Yes God is invisible but he didn’t want to remain invisible so he came to us in the flesh.

If you ask a Muslim why they love their faith, nine out of ten will say “logic.” Yes, they do limit God. But Allah is NOT God. Not even a perverted version of Elohim. If they cannot understand it, it’s not true.

Nobody’s ever been able to defend Muhammad’s need for a 9 year old wife.

John was Jesus’ contemporary. He recorded events as they happened. Jesus Himself taught about the Trinity, but you twist the verse naming the Advocate, and say, “Oh, He was talking about Muhammad.” BZZZZ Wrong answer. He was speaking of the Holy Spirit. 3 distinct persons in One Godhead.

Jesus did not go to India after His Crucifixion and Resurrection. Thomas was the great evangelizer of India.

Edited to add:
Paarsurrey, were you born into this indoctrination or did you embrace it as an adult? Because you cannot truly be held responsible that your ears are closed to Truth if you were raised with this false belief, but if you rejected The Holy Spirit after hearing and knowing the Word, your soul is in grave danger.

A gentle correction on what is necessary to be a Christian

Hi

The above does not represent views of all the non-Catholics. I love Jesus and his true teachings but I don’t believe that Jesus was ever a god who became man. Jesus had no explicit claim to it except some obscure statements narrated by others who misunderstood him. This is my sincere opinion, however, no disrespect is intended to anybody’s faith or creed.

I love Jesus and Krishna

Thanks
paar,
Krishna? That means you believe in more than one God? One is false.
Acts 4:12 reads "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.’ that name is Jesus Christ, God’s son, whom he has sent.
Jn.5:23,30

God bless,

Hi

Our Catholic friends would have us believe that Word became flesh or that god became flesh. Well there seems to be more than that, I think. I am not a physician but as an ordinary man in the street I think flesh is made of soft tissues in the humans and animals. The body could consist of tissues of different solidity; some may or others may not be a part of the human body. There could be some parts having solidity lesser than the flesh while others could have solidity greater than the soft tissues or flesh. Thanks to Paul to inform us that word became flesh.

If we agree to Paul then his concept of Trinity becomes vulnerable; word became flesh, so of what did the subtle tissues thinner than flesh and or harder than flesh were made or who made them. I think Paul must have to revise his brainchild of word becoming flesh, in my opinion. Catholic-god who became flesh must be without bones; as bones are not supposed to be flesh. Paul’s mythical-god therefore cannot be homo-erectus; flesh without bones cannot stand straight.

Paul shall have now to look to at least another god who made the bones; father-god, holy ghost-god, and son-god he made the Trinity with them, now for bones he should name another god, in my opinion.

Kindly, help Paul to revise his mythical theological philosophy.

I love Jesus and would defend him against strange ideas of Paul.

Thanks
paar,
Yes, God did become flesh. Jesus has two natures, He is human and divine. Born of the virgin Mary. see Lu.1:26-38
I know this is difficult for you to grasp, but if you pray and ask God to guide you, you will soon understand who he is. 🙂

God bless you,

Well I have tried to write logic myself and he is rejecting it. God made the heavens and the earth as in the bible and their quran, but that means he made all inbetween.
The flesh also means, the meaty part of the body or the muscle which is connected to the bones by tendons and ligaments. So we could say Jesus was the muscle man of God.

Hi

I belive both Jesus and Krishna as Messengers of GodAllahYHWH. I don’t believe in any incarnation. Jesus was sent with a Message to Jews; while Krishna was sent with a Message to Hindus.

I love Jesus and Krishna as I love Buddha and Moses.

Thanks

Hi

I don’t agree with the above:

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gospel_of_john

Gospel of John

Since “the higher criticism” of the 19th century, critical scholars have questioned the gospel of John as a reliable source of information about the historical Jesus.[7][8][9]
Authorship

Most modern experts conclude the author to be an unknown non-eyewitness.[13] Tradition ascribes the book to John the Evangelist, a disciple of Christ.

But paarsurrey, the messages contradict each other! Jesus taught that we live once, while Krishna’s whole SYSTEM was built on the concept of reincarnation! They CANNOT both be right! God is not schizophrenic. If you disagree that these truths cannot all be from God, please tell me how these contradictory truths can be reconciled!

Hi

Don’t you worry; when Jesus and Krishna would meet, they would shake hands as brother Messengers, and with peaceful dialogue they would reconcile; and their followers will follow them most enthusiastically. Peace is need in this world. Am I correct?

Beautiful. That’s beautiful blessing indeed.

The grace of Jesus - death on the cross saves us.

The love of God - creates us.

The Holy Spirit - empowers us in our faith and belief.

Beautiful blessing that acknowledges the love of God, the Creator who sanctifies us.

This is a better read than wikipedia

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Archaeological_Study_Bible

The book costs about 50 dollars usa money but has lots of facts in it and has great Jewish facts.

I bought it a few years ago when it had first been printed and enjoy looking up the studies.

There is an Islamic history in it but not much too it.

The book is 2306 pages long, go the the site and you can see a sample.
Do not buy the little version or you will have to read it with a magnifier.

Hi

He did what the Messengers do; like Jesus did or Noah did, the gave the Message, GodAllahYHWH had entrusted them to convey to their people.

Thanks
Congratulation, you have invented Hinduism a la Ahmadi.

From your thread, I did not see that you say that Paul invented Trinity. Also, the letter for the Corinthian was written when Paul was in Efesus, not in Rome.

He is contradicting his own Quran. In the Quran he posted for me, he said that God can do anything. I will comeback to his posting for you. I think he mentioned it in the thread “Teaching about Jesus and Mary from Quran”.
