There is a “friend” of mine on Facebook who is complaining about
California’s gay marriage ban. He’s saying that gays are being denied rights and he has NO moral compass.
I cannot convince him by using religious reasons (unless I pull out my bomb, which is practically an essay, proving that God exists, Jesus is God, He founded the Church, and therefore the Church is infallible)
So I need some worldly reasons.
He has no respect for the U.S. Constitution.
He cares more about state laws and “gay rights”
He whines about over-population
And he is convinced that the gay “marriage” movement is about getting the benefits that come with getting married. Rather than the definition.
I am convinced that its about jealousy. Since they won’t settle for unions, but have to go for the definitions.
On a side note,…if someone can answer this as well.
Is it moral for a woman who has gone through menopause to get married? That became part of the argument, too.
