If Jesus did not marry; then he is father of none

M D, that is quite true. But not literal. What Jesus said is absolutely true. But you can read it as you like. I have told my opinion.
Opinions are good. Everybody has one…kinda like belly buttons.

If you admit that what Jesus said is “absolutely true”…then I ask why would He mis-lead His disciples with words that are not literal?

You must eat my flesh and drink my blood…literal? or figurative?

So then, why did He allow for some 100 disciples to walk away from Him on a “mis-understanding”???

We must listen to Jesus. Even the Father tells us this on Mount Thabor, " This is my beloved son, listen to him."

**my reply to you and to DiL is as follows:

I have read the verses presented by DiL. The case is still very weak. Thomas being a Jew would never say to Jesus as his God or Lord. Jesus would not teach such things to any one.

Did any of the apostles also called Jesus “My Lord, My God”? I hope not. In that room there were 11 persons including doubting Thomas. Did any of the other 10 disciples call Jesus “My Lord, My God.” I hope not. So why are you banking on the words of just one person and ignoring the other 10?**
Do you have a record of those 10 objecting Thomas? From your logic, Thomas should have said “Asthagafirullah” instead of “My Lord, My God”. You are careful enough not to say 11, though.

Hi

I always wonder as to why ProtestantsCatholics cannot stop sinning and let Jesus live a peaceful and respectful life after when GodAllahYHWH saved him from a cursed death on Cross.

Why they have to insist and persist on sins?

God Allah YHWH is Most-Gracious and Most-Forgiving; one should have full trust in Him in my opinion.

What is the logic behind?

I love Jesus and Mary as I love Adam and Eve.

Thanks
**So by that you are saying that Muslims NEVER sin? That is ridiculous. Jesus died on the cross to save us all for our sins. Read a Bible some time and you will understand it all.

If you are really interested in Jesus I suggest you look at this site gilead.ws/page/page/798841.htm** - he is ex-muslim and explains it from your perspective.

I wish you knew Jesus - not the fake one from the quran. He loves you already, you just need to ask him into your heart. The truth will set you free.

**Chalotte, the question is about the marraige of Jesus. He came to die for you is another questionable subject. Most part of the life of Jesus is not known. I mean out of 33 years, only three (3) years are known. Could you tell me any detail of the life style of Jesus during the rest of about 29 years?

Could he have been married at the age of 16 or 18? That is well before he met Mary Magd.? Was it not the custom of the Jewish parents to arrange marriage of their children?

I feel that you know nothing about your god**.

Jesus grew in a Jewish family and environment. Even though Jesus was true man, he was an exceptional person by human standard. Marriage was not part of it because he had specific purpose in his coming to the world.

The fullness of his message and the revelation of what he is were brought about when he started his ministry at the age of thirty until his death about three years later. It was not just his teaching but also included his action to form the basis of who he is and what he stands for. That in itself is enough to digest; any others would only to dilute the message of salvation.

He was unmarried for to be otherwise would be in conflict with his mission – to die on the cross for the salvation of mankind.

Islam’s version of Jesus is not sustainable for it’s only theory from the mouth of a person who knew nothing about him. By that time, the story of Jesus most probably was just a myth to him which he expanded to accommodate his agenda.

She definitely knows more about her God than you do.

**Been offline for a while but couldn’t have replied better that Reuben.

Planten and all other Muslims on this board I wish you would read a Bible without hate in your heart and see how wonderful your life would be knowing Jesus and knowing also that God loves you.
