Wrong. The biggest enemy to these people are other people who are too self-righteous for their own good or are just out to make trouble for those who are different and peculiar in their eyes.
You are wrong.

They (sexual deviants) are their own biggest enemy.

Drag queen story hour is another trend that our young innocent children are being subjected to,either in school or libraries.

Should Trump and the rightist GOP just act as hypocrites in nominating a supreme court justice when 4 years ago they fought against the Democrats doing just that?

How can folks spin this in any other way?
That would be because four years ago, the Democrats ignored the “custom” that a president ought not nominate a judge prior to an election when the Senate and Presidency belonged to differing parties (a custom first suggested by Joe Biden) thus letting the people decide by election. Obama threw that custom out by nominating Garland.

The Democrats now want to extend a custom they, themselves did not follow four years ago (by nominating Garland) to a different situation wherein a nomination is made when both the Senate and the Presidency are held by the same party – which was never in question and done a number of times in the past by both parties.

You may want to look into this distinction (not spin) before posting further.

The “young innocent children” you speak of are not really so innocent even when they are young. They call other children offensive names, which they learn from their parents, relatives, neighbors, communities, towns, and the media. And these so-called young innocent children grow up to be even less innocent teenagers and young adults, and carry the prejudices they were taught with them. At least schools are making some effort to stop the endless chain of intolerance, as they continue to do toward women, minorities, and the disabled. The children are not going to become drag queens themselves by being exposed to them; it is not a contagious disease. But what is contagious is hatred and disrespect and, in contrast, love and respect for others.

I don’t really know exactly how to respond to this other than I cannot agree with much of what you said

Yeah, no. Children are moved by what the adults around them do. For adults to normalize this kind of behaviour in front of impressionable children is unconscionable, regardless as to whether you want to place a patina of respect and love on this brain-moulding of children.

I am disappointed that you, who are typically reasonable in your posts, do not grasp the possible impacts on young children.

I am talking about the drive by some to make all abortion illegal in the United States. I am not talking about China and forced abortion, which I know little about, and which is just as immoral as eliminating a woman’s right to make her own decisions on a matter so personal to her. There is no limited government in either case.
No matter how “personal” you make the killing of an innocent human life, it will never be the legitimate “right” of any human being to do so.

I am being reasonable here. Young children are entertained by drag queens reading stories to them. They are not thinking of becoming like them. The children don’t even know who the drag queens are, sexually speaking. All they know is that these people make them laugh so they must be nice. It’s we adults who get all up in arms because we think the children are being molded by what they see. Children perceive things in a qualitatively different way compared to the way adults perceive things: this is developmental psychology 101. Let us not impose our fears on our children. They have their own fears: ghosts, witches, boogeymen.

Oh you mean like the big fat drag queen rolling on the floor with kids climbing in him and he became aroused?:face_vomiting:No thanks, not with my grandkids ,nooo waaay

How many drag queens do that? And is anyone forcing you to do this with your grandkids?

As an aside, I think I may be responsible for a sharp detour from the topic of this thread. I apologize for that.

What the Dems expect of the GOP in this instance is unilateral disarmament.

The children don’t even know who the drag queens are sexually . . .
.

The left (including sadly his own parents) exploited “Desmond” (who was also autistic) for childhood teases for homosexually themed sex shows too.

11-Year-Old Boy Dressed In Drag Dances At Gay Bar, Gets Dollar Bills Thrown At Him

By Amanda Prestigiacomo

Dec 17, 2018 DailyWire.com

On December 1, an 11-year-old boy dressed in drag danced on stage in a sexual manner at a gay bar in Brooklyn, NY, called 3 Dollar Bill. The child, Desmond Napoles, was dressed as a Gwen Stefani-lookalike — full drag make up, a blonde wig, and crop top included — as he bounced around onstage to No Doubt’s “Just a Girl” and collected dollar bills from male adults viewing the number.

The Daily Wire has reviewed and confirmed the “performance” through video and photo posts on social media but has chosen not to link to the exploitative footage. . . .

This abuse of Desmond will not end well for this confused child. (I just took time to stop and pray for Desmond who has the odds stacked against him and many on the left encouraging this.)

Your assumption is that children are merely “entertained” by drag queens and not influenced (by being socialized) into thinking that such behaviour is acceptable and normal.

They are also socialized into thinking that individuals who dress as drag queens are no threat to them or their own ideas about sexuality. You yourself are attempting to depict an insistence that a biologically based heterosexual understanding of sexuality is indicative of “hatred and disrespect.” No it isn’t. It is indicative of clarity regarding the purpose and function of sexuality.

Apparently, having clarity is now regarded as intolerable, while embracing dysfunction and dysphoria are not merely tolerated but mandated because if such an understanding is not fully embraced that indicates “hatred and disrespect.”

Ergo children taught to view sexuality in a traditional manner are, in your view, manifesting hatred and disrespect.

I taught children for over 30 years and raised three of my own. Psych 101 doesn’t cut it.

Or they will riot. 😟

How any one can vote for tantrum prone adolescent sociopaths to lead the country is beyond me.

The GOP’s reason: let the people decide by voting for a new President first.
I don’t recall anyone saying that. The reason was simple: we don’t have to approve if we don’t want to and we’ll take on chances. They banked on a Trump victory. No hypocrisy, just politics.

One further point on this post. You contradict yourself.

You claimed children “…call other children offensive names, which they learn from their parents, relatives, neighbors, communities, towns, and the media…” and then go on to claim they won’t “become drag queens” by being exposed to adults who are drag queens.

How did they learn to call each other offensive names? You, yourself, say by being exposed to adults engaging in that behaviour.

So becoming a drag queen is not contagious but saying offensive things about others is?

What about government-funded war? Do you object to that as well? We pay for all sorts of things we don’t need, want, or believe in.

With regard to “gender fluidity indoctrination,” as you put it, I agree that the left has gone a bit overboard. However, I also understand the intention of schools to instill in youth a move in the direction of tolerance so that those young people who are gay, bisexual, transgender, and intersex will one day no longer be the objects of hatred, violence, and death. That in itself sounds pretty moral to me.
Nobody should be the object of hatred, violence or death at the hands of another, regardless of who they are or how we feel about it. I agree with you on that.

This all stems from an attitude of entitlement. A selfish attitude where everything is all about “me” and what “I want” and “how I see the world”, and there is little empathy for anyone else, and little or no respect or consideration for their rights. There’s an absence of love, even for themselves.

Michael Moore Calls on Americans to Get ‘Out in the Streets’ over SCOTUS Pick — Be ‘Ruthless’

252

PAM KEY

20 Sep 2020

Liberal documentary filmmaker Michael Moore called on Americans to get “out in the streets” and protest Republican Senators possibly pushing a Supreme Court nomination before the November election following the passing of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on Sunday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Weekends.”

Moore said, “We are going to stop any effort on the part Trump, McConnell, the Republicans, to try and ram through some right-wing judge in —literally, . . .

. . . What I’m encouraging people to do this weekend is, umm, we need to be out in the streets. We need to be in front of the local offices in your states, where the U.S. senators have their local offices. We need protests out there every single day.” . . . .
Bold mine.

Of course we have had four or five months worth of
advanced lessons on what the national leftists call “protests”.
. . . He continued, “We also need to contact our own people, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer. . . . Usually, it’s the Republicans shutting down the government. That’s what we have witnessed for the last three decades. This is the one time I think we’re going to shut it down… . .

I hope they don’t burn my house down at least while I am sleeping inside. With the police being defunded, it is becoming more dangerous as fires can spread quite rapidly.
