IF we had a female Pope, what would her title be?

The Pope is the bishop of Rome. A woman couldn’t be Pope because a bishop is the highest form of priesthood. Pope John Paul II definitively declared that women can’t be priests–and in fact he said himself it is a definitive stance of Catholicism.
 
I think it refers more to “Mother Church” rather than creating a position that might be filled in by a woman. Actually I am pretty sure it is like so. Pope Francis used the same argument - that the Church is a “she” - to explain why in a She-Church priests can only be men.

A woman Pope would result in schism. But should a substantial minority of the College of Cardinals come to believe that God wills such a thing I think they would have followers. My estimate, based on interviewing my keyboard with the assistance of a glass of wine, is that 200,000,000 of the 1bn Catholics would like and accept the idea, provided enough Cardinals and Bishops approved. That would create two Popes (one considered an anti-Pope (no, thinking about it, two considered anti-Popes, depending on where you stood). It would be interesting if the woman Pope was more conservative on things like liturgy, sexual morality, celibacy etc. than the man Pope. There would also be vestment issues. I have never got (gotten if you are US) used to the sight of Anglican priests and bishops wearing what I was brought up to think of as men’s clothes (i.e. vestments). Even repeat screenings of the Vicar of Dibley have not helped. Surely some in the movement for the ordination of women have an interest in fashion? There used to be a great site on the web commenting on the Pope emeritus’s clothing. Someone there might be able to help?
 
The Italian feminine for “papa” is actually “papessa”. It’s ususlly a derogatory term referring to a bossy woman.

I feel this entire thread is a sin. Why are we discussing heresy on a Catholic website?
