Forgiveness was given without acceptance! Can you see how that works? He may have forgiven them but most of them did not accept his forgiveness. So chances are many of those are not in heaven. Forgiveness was given but they chose not to receive. As my dad used to say “You can lead a horse to water but can’t make him drink!”>>>LegoGE1947
You see, in order to reverse the “lost” condition mankind was placed in because of knowledge of good and evil, God had to make the sacrifice offering Himself because mankind being a creature of His creation were and are still powerless to fulfill all that God requires to enter heaven.
God then sends His Son to fulfill that requirement for us in the form of forgiveness generated by love for His creatures of His creation.
Being that forgiveness came to mankind from above, it only stands to reason that God forgave all mankind (Both the just and the unjust alike) in order for mankind to have access to heaven.
That is a great mystery, how God could and would forgive the unjust!
If you look at the bible as a whole, you will see that the theme of the whole is not about mankind, but about how God created and saved His own creation.
It is about Gods wonderful works, and how He worked them with us in mind.
