I did watch some INC shows once. I was more interested in their doctrinal clashes with the ADD.
Some of the arguments against the CC by the INC and the ADD were mostly old ones that were refuted ad nauseum anyway.
Why would Jesus break His promise that the Gates of Hell would not prevail over His Church? Did He suddenly forget it and He just let His church apostatize? Did the True Church completely disappear after this ‘Apostasy’ or were an extremely small remnant remained?
But then again, the first choice would be probable (The True Church disappeared under this ‘Apostasy’ and the Unholy union, namely the Catholic Church appeared).
After all, why would Ka Felix come out to preach the True Gospel which he claimed to have disappeared after this Great Apostasy if it still remained (in a small group) anyway? But that claim would show Jesus is a liar and does not keep His promises since the True Church disappeared and Ka Felix was needed to bring it back to the World.
Just noticed that this claim by the INC was somewhat similar to claims made by some Protestant denominations, namely:
・Christianity had apostatized/ Pagans changed Christianity into a pagan cult/ A huge influx of Pagan converts prompted some of the Church’s leaders to adopt Pagan ideas into Christianity (most agree that this happened at Constantine’s reign since he was the one who legalized Christianity)
・The Catholic Church was born out of this ‘paganization’ of Christianity.
・Either a remnant of ‘True Christians’ remained underground because the Catholic Church, which claims to be the True Church persecuted them to keep its claims about it being the True Church/ the True Church disappeared from the face of the Earth until someone comes (usually claiming to act under Divine Authority to restore the Church or claiming to have found the True Church’s belief in the Bible’s pages, which they claim is totally diferrent to what Catholicism preaches) and preaches the ‘True Gospel’.
