I’m an Alien from the planet Zygone. What place is there for me in your religion? And why is your planet the only planet that speaks of Jesus. Sounds like something you made up.
If you choose not to convert to Judaism, you can become a Noahide and abide by the Seven Laws of Noah. These laws will give your life on Earth meaning and purpose and enable you to behave in a fair, just, and merciful way toward others. The Torah and Talmud fill in more details concerning what kind of behavior is ethically and morally desirable on an individual and social level.I’m an Alien from the planet Zygone. Actually, I heard about the Seven Laws long ago. They captivated my interest: it’s great that Judaism has emboldened them for all people to behave morally without even needing to be Jewish. They are seven qualities that every human society should have.If you choose not to convert to Judaism, you can become a Noahide and abide by the Seven Laws of Noah. Then what happens to Zygonites? Have they ever fallen from their natural state as humanity has, or do they have some super mysterious covenant for themselves that they don’t know about?Sorry, Jesus died for humanity, not for Zygonites lol. You speak pretty good english for an alien
The OP may write good English; however, I believe s/he has a heavy Zygonite accent.Sorry, Jesus died for humanity, not for Zygonites lol. You speak pretty good english for an alien
What is a Zygonite accent like? Is there any earthly comparison? The OP may write good English; however, I believe s/he has a heavy Zygonite accent.
No place. For us Catholics, our economy of salvation does not extend to non-human species. Our planet is the only planet that speaks of Jesus because this is the only one he assumed a human nature on as Jesus. The same Person may have done the same on your planet in your nature, but that’s for YOUR religious system to determine, not ours.I’m an Alien from the planet Zygone. Everything in my post here only applies if we assume that you are a creature who has an intellect, will, and immortal soul, and your nature is ordered toward union with God.I’m an Alien from the planet Zygone. Why can they not worship the same God, believing in Him as a Triune deity? They can develop a sort of Zygonitish-Christianity syncretic religion. But you can never become a Christian, because Jesus did not take on your nature, and you do not possess the “stain” of original sin in the same way we do.
I didn’t make it up, and the apostles “most to be pitied” (in the words of St. Paul) “if” they weren’t correct, as they were crucified on an X cross (St Andrew) or upside down (St Peter) or beheded (St Paul). Or the other disciples who were singing praises as they were being boiled alive.I’m an Alien from the planet Zygone. What place is there for me in your religion? It’s quite similar to a Brooklyn accent. What is a Zygonite accent like? Is there any earthly comparison?
NO.Why can they not worship the same God, believing in Him as a Triune deity? They can develop a sort of Zygonitish-Christianity syncretic religion.
They could, since we do believe God is unchangeable, so he would likely have revealed the same to them in the fullness of their time. This is probably the only religious truth we will be able to share with them in common. Why can they not worship the same God, believing in Him as a Triune deity? Better be careful what standards you set for evaluating religions. If “singing while boiling” is a valid criteria, then the Zygones may well end up worshiping the god of the lobsters.I didn’t make it up, and the apostles “most to be pitied” (in the words of St. Paul) “if” they weren’t correct, as they were crucified on an X cross (St Andrew) or upside down (St Peter) or beheded (St Paul). I’m starting to think that this Zygone stuff is being made up…You’re religion says Catholic!
Yet, to worship the Creator is still good and well no matter what you are? Thomas Jefferson and other moralistic deists of his day believed that there “might be a hope” for some sort of afterlife, and said that the Creator is still worthy of worship, even if He does not save them.NO.
No syncretic religion. Just as St. Francis “preached” to the birds to sing praise of God, as they were his creatures, but with irrational souls, and not redeemed as they don’t sin and no salvation, so too can this alien do so, without hope for salvation.
Simply accepting the will of God is enough.
