There is a thread title beyond that which is known to man. It is a post as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between fraining and refraining…
 
Wouldn’t the middle ground between fraining and refraining be “efraining”?

Come to think about it, that would be perfect for the forum.
 
Ha! I finally popped in here to figure out what this thread was about…assuming I probably wouldn’t be reading all 400+ comments…to find out it was just a renamed thread and I was only about 30 comments behind…which many were short comments!

…and now I know why it was renamed as well…and to look for Venus shortly before sunrise…which won’t happen as sunrise is way too early for this retired grandma to be up…much less awake…unless I have a lot of coffee…

Waking early is hard. Another option is to stay up late! As seen from Boston, Venus will rise about 2:20am in mid-August this year. (The exact time of its rising depends on where you are.)

I suppose it must depend, too, on whether you can see the horizon? There is dense woodland adjoining our yard on the eastern side, which means we have to wait an hour or two longer for the rising sun or moon to emerge into full view above the treetops.

Where I live, near the airport and the coast, manmade light and low clouds often compete with the night sky, but early this morning I could clearly see the full moon, Jupiter and even deceptively tiny Saturn.

It’s like the divine light that always shines if we can but see past the distractions.
 
I’m on mountain time. I have an app that tells me when and where every star will be visible…as well as the outlines of the astrology symbols…Leo, Taurus, etc. with my iPad, I can just hold it up and scan the sky’s…very cool! Thanks!
