Its name was forbidden fruit, a pariah to decent folks. Its attendants were anonymous, its humor…pointless.
 
I like old things, the title caught my attention like a half buried old glass bottle full of mystery 🧐

The point depends what kind of thread is being used 🤔 Because of reading CAF on my phone for some months I now need reading glasses …but at least I can thread needles again :roll_eyes:

I begun… began? … Oh, nevermind… I started this thread out of curiosity. What would happen, I wondered, if I created a thread that told people to Please Refrain from Posting to this Thread? (That was the original title.)

I remain curious, and it looks like some other folks are curious too. We are curious in more ways than one. Let’s see what Merriam-Webster says about that:

Definition of curious​

1a : marked by desire to investigate and learn

b : marked by inquisitive interest in others’ concerns : nosy

2 : exciting attention as strange, novel, or unexpected : odd

3a archaic : made carefully

b archaic : precisely accurate

c obsolete : abstruse

All these definitions could apply. I find the the last definition rather apt.
