I don’t care to converse with you.
Then stop slandering me in this forum with your baseless assumptions that I was a Crowleyite and a Satanist. Not to mention a Mormon. I was never any of those things. Never even considered it.

MPD aka Mormon Personality Disorder. A mild case, but still worth the diagnosis. 😃
So, you see someone insulting a Mormon and you have to jump in. I’d say there’s some sort of disorder at work here.

What do you suppose compels you to act this way? Does personal conflict satisfy some need in you?

My, you are sensitive. I was just teasing. Everyone has some sort of pathology, that is just human nature. 🤷

You alluded to your association with the OTO Satanists here:

when you were jumping up and down, begging for my attention, as you have constantly been doing for the last several days. Now I’m indulging you, you want to pretend to be the victim.

Someone certainly seems to be suffering from a personality disorder. 😉

Of course, you like to jump in when you see a fight going. Now that you got a response it’s time for the “weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth”.

I said I KNEW some people involved. Apologies if my wording was too vague for you. But geez, ask for clarification if you don’t understand something. People won’t think you’re less than brilliant if you sometimes admit to not being omniscient. 🤷
By your own admission, you “knew some people involved” who were “fellow grove members” and you earlier admitted going to one of their rituals. Doesn’t sound vague to me at all.

Again, if you’ve truly left such things behind you I admire you for it, and I wish you peace.

Arrrrrgh! The “grove” was an ADF grove. Google it if you care. It is a neo-pagan, neo-Druid group, and one of its leaders, Ian Corrigan, posts here occasionally. There is some crossover in membership between various pagan organizations and groups like the OTO, therefore as a pagan I knew ceremonial magicians. But I, personally, never, ever went to an OTO ritual, and I never claimed here or anywhere that I did. I was repulsed by the idea when I received an invitation.

Thanks.

I don’t.
Ha! Because if you did, you’d have to admit you were wrong about something. Can’t have that, can we? 😃

I wish you peace, too, LaMar! I’ll pray for your conversion. I’ll make it an intention of my rosary this week.

Actually I was about to post an apology for the “you attended a ritual” thing, but glad you could get in one more dig. 😉

I’m glad that you didn’t go to an OTO ritual, and quit after simply being invited.

As far as not caring about druids, I really don’t. From what I know (which ain’t much) that’s a benign spiritual pursuit which doesn’t overtly harm anybody. I’m not at all interested in it (when I’m done reading up on Islam maybe I’ll change my mind).

That sums it up pretty nicely, actually.

I’ll quit talking to you now. 🙂

Here’s the thread in question:

People who constantly seek out conflicts aren’t the type of people I surround myself with. I wouldn’t ask such a person anything, as there’s nothing she could possibly teach me. (The above interaction is evidence enough of that much). I don’t care to converse with you. I simply wish you peace.
This is from an impartial point of view, I dont want to take sides or get involved in this.

LaMar I think that you may have misread/misunderstood ibkc wrote/expressed. Ibck didnt suggest/allude to being in a masters program, she said that she took a class/course and it was at a masters level. A class/course doesnt qualify as a program and doesnt really grant any certification other than a credit.

Im not having a go, its just my impartial observation.

That whole thread

speaks for itself.

My biggest mistake was bothering to respond to any of it. I’m very new to the psychology of the internet message forum, but the experience has been an informative one.

Yeah I did read the whole thread, there were some stirers in it but I just focused on the issue of contention between yourself and ibck.

Communication in forums, chat rooms and the like isnt done face to face, so people tend to be less restrained than they would be if they were in person. This leads to some say things or acting in ways they wouldnt normally say or act.
