Stay. I pray you will find the Truth here also!
It’s not a wedding cake, it is the Papal Tiara, which had been worn by Popes for a long, long time to symbolize their power.oh, the picture of the guy with the wedding cake on his head isn’t creepy? go figure.

reborn

That is a paradox of your own faith tradition. Does blowing about in the wind, doing whatever you will, ever matter in the end?why does everybody even want me to stay, whats it gonna matter if i leave? not like anything i done here matterd, which was the point of why i started
Your profiles says Catholic…oh, the picture of the guy with the wedding cake on his head isn’t creepy? go figure.
And here I thought tiaras were only worn by beauty contest winners and drag queens. It’s not a wedding cake, it is the Papal Tiara, which had been worn by Popes for a long, long time to symbolize their power.
I do not find it creepy at all.
Not if they have a working set of eyeballs. Oh, but it seems we’ve run afoul of the Catholic police. Apparently, if one is “truly” Catholic, certain observations are not allowed?Your profiles says Catholic…
Odd for a Catholic to refer to an image of Pope St. Pius X in the Papal Tiara as a “guy with the wedding cake on his head”.
I’ve never seen this crown and that Pope does look a bit strange with that “Tiara” on his head…and it does look a bit like a wedding cake…funny. It’s obviously an old tradition, I haven’t seen it…who was the last Pope who wore it?It’s not a wedding cake, it is the Papal Tiara, which had been worn by Popes for a long, long time to symbolize their power.

It looks like a wedding cake. To YOU he is the greatest Pope, that is your opinon. I was just commenting on your reference to reborn_pagans picture…because I know where you were going. Wiccans do not worship the devil and are not evil. I have not read all of reborn_pagans posts…so I will share with you, what I know about Wicca. Wicca is a earth practice. The mother earth is sacred. It is not wasted, destroyed, or used haphazardly. Everything that comes from the earth returns to the earth and is reborn. Some of the wiccans I know, do not drink, smoke, or put anything in their bodies that would harm them. No do they harm anyone else, beast or fish or fowl. There is a Creator, but I never really got down to WHO exactly that is.Your profiles says Catholic…

A Catholic should have some respect for one of the greatest Popes in recent centuries and an ancient symbol of the Papacy.
Caesar that’s not very nice, she is a good Catholic and a lovely lady. She was just being funny. No one is disrespecting any Popes. His head gear does look a bit like a cake, I’m sorry you don’t see the humorYour profiles says Catholic…

Would Jesus wear something like that on earth, while riding a donkey? Did Peter?Ooooh, nice. Everyone wants one of those…
I remember attending Mass in the basilica two years during a graduation Mass, and some of the older priests brought what looked like ornate crowns to be worn. Some were more attentiong getting than the Cardinal’s miter. Really caused a thought or two to float through my mind.

Actually, ‘tiaras’ are those headbands Persian cavalry wore during the wars with Greece. By extension, it means any headband. And here I thought tiaras were only worn by beauty contest winners and drag queens.
Symbol of power? Why? Wouldn’t his words and actions speak more sincerely than a tiara? It’s not a wedding cake, it is the Papal Tiara, which had been worn by Popes for a long, long time to symbolize their power.

Stay…if you want to stay or just don’t care one way or the other, what can it hurt?why does everybody even want me to stay, whats it gonna matter if i leave? not like anything i done here matterd, which was the point of why i started
Well put Juli, I feared things would go in this direction as well but it looks like a few have encouraged her to stay. It’s nice to see.It looks like a wedding cake. It’s not my cup of tea, but I will not deny a person who practices a faith that nurtures the earth, a one way ticket to hell.
