Not when the senators are able take notes from them, and can confirm the arguments, dates, citations, clips, and all of their presentations - which will attest to FACTS. Again, Bolton doesn’t scare me a whit. Relax.

This issue came up in response to other commenters commenting about his Christianity.
I recall Trump interviewing in the campaign trying to appeal to Christian voters. That is how the questions you identified came up. But when he was asked a basic Christian question, he gave this bizzarr answer( for a Christian). Cal Thomas , a Conservative Christian commentator gave Trump a second chance about 4 months later. He wanted Trump to clear it up. A Christian softball. Trump didn’t. I hope that describes why the inquiry.
The response by the way is ," yes I have, but I prefer to keep it personal."

Bolton will confirm the House managers case but he needs his contemporanious notes to eliminate doubt.

Bolton doesn’t scare you because you can count the votes of senators with a GOP constituency.

Their constituents don’t want the President removed, so the President is HIGHLY unlikely to be removed. There would have to be a public opinion sea change like we’ve never seen. I really don’t expectc that, either, but it doesn’t have much to do with senators taking notes. It has to do with what their constituents think the facts are, because believe me, nobody is sticking out their necks so they can convince their constituents that they really would rather have President Pence and an embarrassed GOP.

This case doesn’t call for that kind of courage, because no one is saying the President actually ended any lives on 5th Avenue or on Broadway or at the 50 yard line of the Super Bowl or anyplace else.

It’s over. Let’s vote. Do we even need questions? Such a waste of time. Yet again. It’s getting old, these Trump investigations.

The Senate’s not doing much anyway. Don’t you want to own the Dems? Call your Senator and demand witnesses. Stand by what you believe.
read my posts again, I only discussed why the Dems may have an aversion.

The Dems have already been “owned” in the opening rebuttal.

If you think that the Democrats have been ‘owned’ by that rebuttal, it would explain why you think that the Democrats may have an inversion to witnesses.

Sanders, Warren, Kolbuchar, and Bennet will need to recuse themselves from the trial vote. Right?

They won’t, of course. That would require a certain degree of honor.

Likely Bolton has nothing other that what the Dems’ other “witnesses” had; surmise based on their own political predilections. But he and the Dems will play it for what it’s worth. The Dems want to be able to have Bolton criticize Trump for other things on national TV.

If you closely read what the NYT says is in the Bolton novel, it looks suspiciously like “Clintonspeak” that sounds like one thing but actually doesn’t quite say it.

Uhm, then McConnell and Graham, at leas, also have to, since they borked their oath when they said that they would be impartial.

No. Neither should they. It is their responsibility to their constituents and to the country for them to go on record and do their job.

Since Graham and Cotton and some others take money from Bolton’s PAC, that would represent a ground to be excused from a jury for cause in every courthouse in America. That’s just a fact.

Bolton , as far as we can tell, is going to parrot Trump’s precise words to the American people.
If Republicans are still going to complain about remoteness, or interpretation over that, it is time to release everyone whose criminal trial did not have an authenticated video confession and even there, let’s look to see if the videographer gave money to Hillary. Lol
