a ban is not legal.
You read it, then, and knew enough about what Bolton was involved in to know he breached no security in it?

Somehow, I doubt that. Regardless, all he has to do is take the “redlined” stuff out.

But he could go on MSNBC tonight and tell what he knows about Trump and Ukraine. But he won’t because he thinks people will pay to learn it by buying his book.

Not exactly. Trump reportedly has promised legal action if he does not remove pertinent sections that are related to confidential matters. That’s not just a mild threat, and Trump is not fearful, as you have imputed this motive to him. I presume the legal action would be against Bolton AND his publisher. Bolton has plenty of time to redact it. Why not listen to the news report?

I don’t know. To think that Bolton was dumb enough to write a book with TS material in it is not credible. This is the WH’s way of preventing him from testifying.

It’s all part of the coverup.

I have this on DVR tape, the exact communication that Weija Jang reported today. Would you like to see it? My better self tells me that it would not make any difference, for your mind seems to be made up.

Removing a President is extremely serious. I am carefully watching.

I have said that the obstruction article is stronger than the abuse one. Rep Jeffries is talking to that right now.

I have not seen anything to change my mind. I was appalled when Alan Dershowitz said that the President can abuse his power to get re elected if he thinks it’s in the best interest of the country. That is simply unamerican.

I am so bone weary of this entire proceeding that I don’t even want to talk about it any more. You guys fight it out. I have daily prayed for the trial and I trust God will bring good out of it, one way or another. In my heart of hearts, I believe sincerely that Trump will be exonerated and acquitted.

Soros is a fictional character based on the real character Goldstein from ORWELL’S 1984.
No, he’s totally real and responsible for all the evil in the world. All you have to do is say Soros and conservatives scream and run away.
Hardly appropriate. And certainly inappropriate to say McConnell is not a “true American”.

The Russian “partner” in the deal was sanctioned due to the Mueller investigation that turned up nothing. It agreed to provide financing for an aluminum rolling plant in a seriously depressed part of Kentucky. McConnell got the sanctions lifted so the aluminum plant could employ the Kentuckians. That’s what people like McConnell are supposed to do.
Well, I was waiting for @CradleRC58 to explain what ‘true America’ means, but I doubt it means a Senator that refuses to take up legislation to protect American elections from Russian interference.
Hunter Biden flies on Air Force Two to China and comes back with 1.5 billion in Chinese capital notwithstanding that he knows nothing about investment banking, and makes 20 million as a consequence, and you’re okay with that, but don’t think the unemployed Kentuckians should have jobs?
Oh, we have a new shiny object to look at to sidetrack our focus from Trump trying to extort the Ukrainians into starting a fake investigation into his political opponents by withholding aid earmarked for that country.

Senator that refuses to take up legislation to protect American elections from Russian interference.
Oh. How did the Russian financier interfere with the 2016 election? Some evidence would be nice. If you believe McConnell generally refuses to protect against the Russians, some evidence would be good for that assertion as well.

Not to sidetrack. I really would like to see investigation into Biden’s role in Hunter Biden’s gaining Millions of dollars from governments and entities with which Joe Biden was doing government business at the same time. Never mind that the U.S. government itself was concerned about Hunter Biden’s appointment to the board of corrupt Burisma.

But the Democrat rule is that no Democrat conflict of interest can be investigated, no matter how blatant, even if the corrupt politician brags about it openly. And the “insurance policy” in this case is to start a phony impeachment against the president to distract from the corruption of the former Vice President.

Dems are good at creating “insurance policies” against their political opponents. One has to admit that. The American public, of course, pays the premium.

I forgot that you didn’t read the Mueller report that talks about Russian interference in the 2016 election. Yes, there was Russian interference in the election and, yes, McConnell is blocking a House bill from being read in the Senate. But keep barking up that Biden tree.

One who supports his president whether they voted for him or not.

Just like the old days.

Turley said there was an Impeachable offense for abuse of power.
This is an offense involving the integrity of our elections.
No, he said abuse of power could be an impeachable offence, but that what President Trump did doesn’t rise to that level.

Anyone who advocates for non-citizens or illegal immigrants to vote doesn’t really understand what “integrity of our elections” means.

Actually, I did read the Mueller report, the “Russian interference” didn’t amount to much of anything and had nothing to do with McConnell. There is more than one “election interference” bill in congress. McConnell and others oppose at least one because it federalizes state elections; that is, sets up a federal authority to set up controls on state elections.

But there is actually quite a lot of legislation that aids in preventing foreign interference. As Sen Blunt puts it:

“When you talk to anyone responsible for elections or for monitoring outside intervention and ask them, ‘do you need any legislation you don’t have,’ whether that’s the FBI or NSA or Homeland Security, the answer is always ‘no, we don’t need more legislation,’” Blunt said, adding, “And I think it’s fair to say Congress is paying attention to that.”

And why are you not worried about other foreign interference?

Redlined? What I think happened is yesterday Trump ordered anything he didn’t like, Top Secret.
Presidential power is such a resource for the Lex Luther Gene.

I would think he wouldn’t like publication of secret information. No surprise there.

But never fear, John Bolton could “tell all” he thinks he knows about Trump and Ukraine on MSNBC or CNN tonight if he wants to, and they would love it if he did. But he won’t because he’ll sell more books if people think they have to buy it to know the story.

His “one trick pony” book will be published before long and it will be just as big a nothing as every other witness testimony the Dems produced.

So true America is one that supported Nixon, eh? I guess I’ll take me some false America when the President is corrupt.
‘corrupt’ that’s a powerful imagination you have, since no evidence of such was provided.

But we did have evidence of Hillary’s corruption. We also have worrisome evidence related to Biden, but Dems are ignoring it.
