When both parties deny it, it’s not extortion. But it’s not okay to extort a foreign country to fire its lawfully appointed prosecutor by threatening to withhold funds earmarked by another branch of government, when that prosecutor is investigating the son of the Vice President who makes the threat.
When the odor of Biden’s action became a stench nobody could ignore, the Dems diverted it by wrongfully accusing Trump of the same thing. The Dems always do that. Hillary gets Russian involvement in the election, and Trump gets accused of it.

We’ll see. Biden has never been investigated since Joe Biden got the prosecutor fired, and nobody knows what all happened. But it should be investigated. Perhaps it will be.

This really is lame. The Obama administration was concerned that there was a conflict of interest with Biden being in charge of relations with Ukraine and Hunter Biden being on the board of a known corrupt organization. It should have been investigated when Biden got the prosecutor fired, but it wasn’t.
This part is just a gratuitous slander without foundation. And I’m not a Repub. Never have been.

Not really. I mean, if the Obama took the lead of the Trump administration, they should have just told people to get over it. But that’s when Presidential administration cared about the appearance of conflict of interest even if there is none. Now we have an administration that is always creating conflict of interest and your typical Republican wants to complain about how corrupt the Obama administration was, even though it was anything but.

I’m not a Repub at all. I don’t know how corrupt the Obama administration was. What I do know is that it was worried about Biden’s conflict of interest with Burisma which was known to be corrupt. Interestingly, the fake “whistleblower” was among those who attended a meeting about the concern.
But when a high official goes on TV bragging about how he threatened to withhold approved aid unless a lawfully appointed prosecutor was fired, and when his son simultaneously worked for that corrupt company being investigated by that prosecutor, it demands investigation.
I can understand why Dems don’t want Biden investigated. But it looks like Biden might fade, and if he does they’ll stop protecting him.
