My teeth would fall out reading all 658 pages, and I’m only 44. I agree with Horton. Just ignore the incessant topics that have no impact on what the outcome will be. It ruins a barely tolerable board as is.

No doubt you will be cheering after the Senate gets done with this and call it a net win for Trump.

I think everyone who believes this is a farce takes a favorable Senate vote as a consolation prize. Our first choice for America would be that this had never been pursued.

Horton:
It is useful to have the report here that lays out the facts and the law… to provide a reference when people inquire about the facts and fhe law.
. . . Or the facts and the flaws.

A) You have no idea why the House was voted in.

B) There are lots of ways to put checks on a President. It speaks to the ineptness of this particular Congress that they have to resort to this.

If Trump wins reelection, it will means Americans didn’t agree with the Dems. We shall see, but that is my guess.

we will find out if it is a “net win” sometime after the polls close on Nov 3 next year. And yes, i think it will be a good thing when the Senate declines to remove trump. If you want to picture me as “cheering” then go right ahead. all i ask is you imagine me with a flattering color of pom pom. my preference would be Red, White, and Blue but since its your imagination you just do you.

This powerful well written letter from President Trump
You might like to listen to what a former Federal prosecutor makes of this letter:
(start ~4:30)
I have seen letters like this many times before as a federal prosecutor… whether I was prosecuting RICO cases against some of the most notorious gang members in DC or standalone murder cases. These letters would come in not infrequently prior to trial. And they would be filled with allegations that the FBI is framing me, the prosecutor is out to get me, I am the victim here, don’t believe anything you say. And we took those letters in stride because we knew exactly what those letters meant. It meant that we were dealing with somebody who was truly guilty of the offenses with which he was charged …

This is like a desperate jailhouse letter from a guilty pretrial defendant.

It remains to be seen if the country ends up like Atlantic City, though.
