You are very welcome. I don’t know why you needed me to explicitly state that though. I have been pretty open about generally supporting the President and not thinking he deserves to be removed. are there any other obvious positions of mine you want “cleared” up?

Sorry, the republicans really have no love for the president, as demonstrated by the lack of progress his policies made when republicans controlled both houses. I believe that republicans would be the first to launch action against him if he actually did do something illegal.
 
The letter that President Trump submitted to Pelosi yesterday represents a last ditch effort at the 11th hour to preserve peace. Pelosi was given one last chance to peacefully back down.
What do you suppose the Democrats will do when the trial goes to the Senate and impeachment is dismissed?
Pelosi was implored to tone down every step of the way.
She is putting the shot but it will be dropping on dems. Dems are going to hurt all the more.
Get it now?

No doubt they have something planned. Maybe somebody should start a betting pool on what the “October surprise” will be next year.

Everything always comes out in the wash. I think the spin rinse cycle is just beginning to rev up.
Fortunately, the load will remain balanced through January.

I have to wonder if this hissy fit it is all about that. How even Kasich didn’t even attend the Republican convention and all the never Trump Republicans were rattled.

If she backs down, she gets eaten by her mob base.

IF she doesn’t back down, she gets railroaded in 2020.

In how many of those cases he tried did the FBI falsify documentation to get warrants? When he was prosecuting the “Crips” did he disclose his monetary contributions to the “Bloods”?

I don’t see how any of this matters. The bottom line is that this is partison politics. And for that reason among others, he will survive the impeachment. And he will probably come out stronger than ever. I only wonder what else the Democrats have up their sleeves when this fails?

Not that I’m complaining. The LAST thing I want to see is Democrat lawmakers go back to law making.

Absolutely. Many of Trump’s former “adversaries” are now all solidified behind him. All this has done is solidified the Republican party like never before, while simultaneously driving away Independents from Democrat Party.

(1) they’ll claim 2020 election is tainted since Trump should have been removed
(2) they’ll re-impeach him after he wins in 2020

they’ll never surrender, never stop. There is no reasoning with them. They’re a mob. The inmates are in charge of the asylum. They have to be removed. Only solution is for the medical staff to take back charge of the asylum (Classic Democrats of 1990s)

Didn’t Schiff say something about impeaching him in order to prevent his reelection, basically admitting that the will of “the people” was irrelevant?
