Only the best Disney movie ever!! Apart from The Lion King and Mulan that is.

I love Mulan—the only reason I avoided seeing Beauty and the Beast is that I’m so enamored of the Cocteau version.

Maybe time to check it out, though…

Belle is probably my favorite Disney princess, too. Smart, dressed modestly, behaved like a lady, unimpressed with the big handsome jerk of the village. 👍 Too bad that movie didn’t come out until I was in high school. All of my Barbies and most of the Disney heroines (Snow White being the exception) were blonde, at least in the mid-80s.
