Obama is about an inch taller than me and I’m close to six feet. He’s a wiry sort of guy and could dance around Trump and jab. I don’t know what would happen in the clinches.

If Obama was smart, he’d never grapple with Trump, where Trumps bulk might turn the tables. He’d just dance around and wait for Trump to tire himself out, then move in and finish him off.
 
Let’s be real honest though, both guys are more likely to hire someone to do fighting for them, or just take it to the courts.

Oh, yeah, this is one of those “could a bear kill a shark if the shark has a baseball bat but the bear has a switchblade” hypotheticals. This would never happen.
 
That sounds like a description of an Abbott and Costello episode.
 
And yet, when Trump taunts, you stop in to post how bad you think it is. You remain silent when Obama does it. Is this a racial thing, perhaps?

He must have struck a nerve with the democrats since they went after him. The truth hurts. Luckily, he is still living and making his videos and documentaries. They didn’t silence him.
 
I’d say anyone who believes felons should have the right to determine the fate of the country through voting should be just as comfortable in trusting what they write in a book.

At least I can not read a crappy book. I can’t avoid a crappy politician who wins an election.

IIRC, Obama quit smoking in 2009.

Seriously though, somehow, for all the harping on President Trump not being a good example for people, the same folks are silent on President Obama smoking like a chimney. Great example from a leader.

And I agree about pitying Trump. He’s a big boy, and it just highlights the left’s hypocrisy when they do the same thing. But I would appreciate some consistency. Anyone defending a goof like Obama for belittling the sitting President can’t ACTUALLY be bothered by the things Trump has said. I am willing to bet that anyone taking shots at Trump over the next few years will get a pass. Apparently being brusque or boorish is only bad if Trump does it.
 
There’s that brusque and boorish Obama personally approving drone kill missions that hit weddings and other notable civilian targets. There’s that brusque and boorish Obama setting an incredible precedent by approving a drone to execute a US citizen not on a battlefield and then returning two weeks later to nail that guy’s son who was also a US citizen. It’s one thing if a US citizen is on a battlefield for the other side, then he’s fair game. But this was a an execution without an arrest let alone a trial to which all US citizens are entitled. Or are they?

What a nice guy!

FYI I’ve had you on ignore for a bit, I won’t be able to read any of the hundred or so witty replies you’ve thoughtfully typed out for me.

My issue, is that the word “taunt” was used because Obama discussed birtherism. The word “spectacle” isn’t a taunt. It has nothing to go with race.

I most likely won’t be responding to your posts anymore.

And miss your one-sided commentary on Trump’s ills while remaining silent on Democratic politicians? No thank you ma’am.

I’ve never ignored anyone, and won’t start now. This is a place to share ideas (theoretically Catholic ones, ahem…), and have those ideas challenged, not to simply come and have our opinions validated like some echo-chamber. The most I’ll do is take a break from this place if I feel like it is hurting me spiritually.

I have found that people who blatantly use the ignore feature (it isn’t hard to find out who is ignoring who) tend to get hit with more replies than if they’d not used the feature and just not replied.
