This will be my last post in the thread since I don’t want to spend the last days of CAF discussing Trump.
You need to stop living in this fantasy world where Trump won. He didn’t. It’s over. His lawsuits are getting regularly laughed out of court, Joe Bidens margins are large enough that a recount is not going to change the results, and even some of Trumps closest allies in government and the media are backing away from him at this point. It’s over. He lost.
If you have this fantasy that the Supreme Court is going to swoop in and deliver Trump a second term, you need to stop listening to the people at OAN or Newsmax who are making a buck telling you what you want to hear. The self-delusion is just getting sad at this point.
And why is it so shocking and unbelievable that Trump lost? He’s literally never been popular, won a very narrow victory four years ago, and we’re in a midst of a pandemic that most Americans, fairly or not, think he’s mishandled. That’s not a recipe for re-election. Getting five thousand of his fans to come to a stadium to hear him speak is not a sign that he was ever actually popular.
Let it go already. If you’re a Republican, you’d be better served spending your time and money trying to hold the Senate than sinking deeper into this fantasy land where Trump somehow flips the election results.
