In my opinion, "Mary Mother of God", is too general, and misleading as a teaching

I used to be in Mary Legion. It was a student presidium when I was in my high school. I continued attended the meetings up to my first year in university.

My opinion is not something I compulsively stated. It is something that has been in my mind for many many years as a catholic person. And, no, it is not a result from talking to any protestant evangelist/ minister/ friend. No.

It is more of what I find in conflict with the bible, especially the fact that

Mary as the New Eve, cannot precede the New Adam (Jesus). And the fact that Jesus said to Nicodemus this principle: “what is born of flesh is flesh, and what is born of spirit is spirit”

So, if I am wrong, I hope that somebody can tell me and show me why I am wrong.

I am baptized catholic since I was in primary school, and has been attended Sunday mass since then. My hubby is a roman catholic too and we were married in the church. My only son was baptized as a baby and attends Sunday mass together with us every Sunday.

When I pray Hail Mary, I only say the

Hail Mary full of Grace,
The Lord is with you
Blessed are you among women,
And blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus
Holy Mary, pray for us.

Sometimes, I add “mother of Jesus Christ, pray for us”
Or, “mother of the apostle whom Jesus loves, pray for us”

Use Theotokos then. Not sure why you want to be a Nestorian

I am sorry but your post seems like trolling…
Speak to priest if you truly want truth.

I’m actually a member of the Legion of Mary, I’m not sure the OP even knows what the Legion of Mary is , so there might be something to what you say.

My pressidium was called Regina Caeli

Nestorian or not, Jesus teach that principle.

Please tell me that you disagree that the bible write what Jesus told Nicodemus what is born of flesh is flesh, what is born of spirit is spirit

If it’s a heresy, then no, Jesus didn’t. The Church cannot pronounce anything Christ taught as heresy. Denying the title of “Theotokos” to Mary is to deny the fullness of Christ’s divinity. Either He’s God or He’s not. Either Mary gave birth to Christ, who is fully God, or Christ is not divine and she did not.

Is it impossible that the church fall into idolatry?

Israel fell into idolatry for many times and for long periods of times too

No, he did not. Jesus’ words to Nicodemus has zero bearing on Mary’s divine motherhood. Jesus’ words are a reference to baptism, not Jesus’ divinity.

Mary is Mother of God because the title teaches a very important truth about Jesus. Nestorianism claims that there were two persons in Jesus, a divine person and human person and that Mary only bore the human person of Christ, and so Nestorius called her Christotokos. This was condemned by the Council of Ephesus, and it was defined that Jesus is only one Person, a Divine Person, who has two natures divine and human and therefore Mary is Theotokos, God-Bearer, to tell us the truth that He whom she bore in her womb was truly God. Mothers do not bear natures. Mothers bear Persons.

This has implications for our salvation. Because if Jesus was two Persons, then which Person died on the Cross? And if it was a merely human Person who died on the Cross, even a sinless one, how in the world could he have paid for mankind’s sin?

That is Nestorianism in a nutshell. Deny this title, and you deny the divinity of Jesus.

Jesus is God. But he called Mary “woman” when pointing to John, saying “your son”

" 1. If anyone does not confess that Emmanuel is God in truth, and therefore that the holy virgin is the mother of God (for she bore in a fleshly way the Word of God become flesh, let him be anathema .
2. If anyone does not confess that the Word from God the Father has been united by hypostasis with the flesh and is one Christ with his own flesh, and is therefore God and man together, let him be anathema ."

When you question Church teaching, it is best to doubt yourself first. A 10 minute video which explains this situation very well.
