Now, back to the thread. What was the point again???

Oh yeah. The Church has been infiltrated throughout the ages. It was by Arius, by Nestorius, by the reformers, by any number of supposedly well-meaning individuals who lacked obedience or, in a more sinister sense, those with an agenda.

Pope Paul VI saw “the smoke of Satan entering the Church through the cracks” - and this was almost 60 years ago.
 
And the world is full of cynics.
Jesus Christ once told his apostles not to denounce someone who was trying to do something good using his name.
If they are not against us, they are for us.
Just something to think about.
 
I just purchased the digital version of Infiltration…looking forward to reading in the next few days.

I purchased the hardback version of Infiltration. Very good read. Highly recommend this book.

I wonder, since we are on the topic of Taylor Marshall’s book, are their any other books that anyone would recommend that deal with similar issues addressed by Infiltration? I am going to the library tomorrow and would like to see if I can borrow a similarly themed book for now (Taylor’s book will sit for a bit in my Kindle wishlist). Thanks in advance!

Books that talk about how bad the Church is? No, I cannot recommend any.

ETA. Thought of one. Chamberlin’s “The Bad Popes”. It gives great hope to we who tend to think that the Church is so fragile.

That’s good because I don’t think he was asking for that. Books of that nature would be something such as Lorraine Boettner’s Roman Catholicism.

If you’re looking for similar books you might like Phillip Lawler’s books Lost Shepherd and The Smoke of Satan

If you want something more focused on Liturgical changes and their effects on the Church today, I’d highly recommend anything from Michael Davies. Most of his works are difficult to find because they are no longer in print, but his writing style is clear and his books are very well documented and well sourced.

I have not read this book so it’s hard to give an opinion. I have been wanting to read Libido Dominandi by Michael Jones but that book attacks the Culture more than the Church.

I find problematic that the comments by listeners under the videos of Michael Voris and Taylor Marshal and the like are very schismatic and atleast look anti -Catholic.

I have not read this yet but someone recommended to me, Trojan Horse by Dietrick von Hildrebrand. It was written in the 1960’s and from what I understand much of the crisis he says would happen, has happened.
 
Thanks! I am not seeking anti-Catholic books but books that address changes and/or factions within the Church that have had negative effects.

I am just starting chapter 16

So far, I hear/read that Dr. Marshall writes as he speaks on his YouTube videos. I learned some interesting facts and see parallels that blend into our present times and possibly point to the future.
