And therefore future generations of that animal will have more or less tolerance for higher heats? If the average heat tolerance for the creature goes up, might that allow it to migrate to areas it previously couldn’t?
Can fish get by with less oxygen now because it got too hot and depleted it all ?

There is no animal today in a real world that is not capable of surviving its environment, if some environmental anomaly comes along they won’t survive simple as that.
You’re down to contradicting yourself within single sentences.
No I didn’t, the heat was an environmental anomaly, the ones that didn’t get too over heated will lived to produce more of it’s kind.
So you do understand it. You really are the most perverse person I have ever known.

You’ll be a bit warmer than the guy behind the bar who just has jeans and a t-shirt but it’s no big deal.
So, how do you survive in the hot summertime ?
I don’t. But guess who does and talks the girl into checking his etchings up in his room.

He is best fitted. Lucky slob.

Not everyone does.

let’s just hope all this happened on a cold night.

Can someone give me an evolution scenario for something like the artichoke, pineapple and cauliflower, and how these things came into existence. How would you apply the concepts, and ideas of… survival of the fittest, random mutations and environmental pressures to these plants.

I don’t think anyone is going to pretend to have that answer. First it would depend on ‘from what to what’. From what to an artichoke?

We don’t have that detailed of a record, though every time we find a new piece it always seems to fit, go figure.

Can you tell me who your Maternal ancestor 200 generations ago was? Probably not but since we all understand how babies are made I think we’d all believe you have a maternal ancestor 200 generations back. I suppose it’s possible your 199th generation back great-great…grandmother just popped into existence but I’m going to assume not. I’m also going to assume she looked a lot like your 201st ancestor and your 199th, but less so than your 202nd and your 198th, and probably almost nothing like you.

If you were the slightest bit interested, you could have typed “artichoke” (and the others) “evolution” into Google. There’d are literally dozens of articles including serious peer-reviewed papers on each one.

I’ve done that, they’re all biased towards evolution,so they’re going to make everything fit into that model.

You’re looking for a scientific explanation of evolution that includes the phrase “or maybe God poofed it into existence, who the f%#@ knows”?

I’ve done that, they’re all biased towards evolution,so they’re going to make everything fit into that model.
Alright. Please find me a website that gives scientific proofs and evidence for six-day creationism that isn’t biased toward six-day creationism.

I agree that’s true.

That doesn’t matter.
  1. Choose a “biased” article.
  2. Are its observations correct?
  3. Do its observations fit an evolutionary model?
  4. Does it omit observations which contradict the evolutionary model?
If the answers are yes, yes, yes and no, then there’s your evolutionary scenario, regardless of bias.

When I try the same with a Creationist article, I rarely get beyond Question 2. Even if the observations are correct, they even more rarely fit Creationism, and I have never seen a Creationist article which doesn’t omit observations which contradict it.

You haven’t explained how the animal with the deadly cold protecting fur is surviving before it gets cold.
Ever been skiing?

When you stop off for a few brews half way through the day you don’t take all your ski gear off when you go in the bar. You’ll be a bit warmer than the guy behind the bar who just has jeans and a t-shirt but it’s no big deal. You’ll both survive without any problem. If there’s a good looking girl at the bar you’ll both be in with the same chance of talking her into increasing the population.

However, if you and the barman meet the girl on the slopes, you’ll be the only one likely to get up close and personal. Because after a while the barman will be seriously hypothermic and will be dead soon after.
You didn’t explain why the girl didn’t die of hypothermia like the barman did.
