To Abba:
I may not have given you the best answer last night. I was kind of tired when I wrestled with it. But I’ve slept on it now and I think this is really the answer you are looking for.
As I said before we must put our Faith in eternal truths that cannot change. And the 2/3rds Rule is not an eternal truth, it is a theory. As such it is susceptible to change and even collapse. Having studied it for 19 years I don’t think it will. But it could. So it would be very foolish to place our faith in it.
So what good is it? That is what I think you are asking
Well imagine a world united in acceptance of the Truths and Sacraments disseminated by one Church; that One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church we both hold dear. This is a world at peace is it not? This is a world where we’ve stopped killing each other for stupid reasons and can finally get something positive accomplished. This is a world where we’ve finally realized Christ’s utmost intentions for us by becoming His united Body on earth. And we got there not because we placed oiur salvation on a silly mathematical formula but because the preponderance of empirical evidence now suggests through that formula that the Catholic Church really is the smart way to go. That is my vision for the future anyway. And that is the reason I feel such a sense of responsibility to get this discovery out to the public. Maybe I don;t use the correct tactics. Maybe I am guilty of sensationalizing. But as Jochoa pointed out I’m excited about this. I also know that one way or another this vision I have will one day be realized. And in my own haste to try to bring it about I have certainly made some blunders. I will certainly make more and my apologies once again for that. But hopefully you can see through those blunders and find your way to the meat of what I am talking about.
