Hope you didn’t pay for that.
Many Saints - St. Alphonsus, St. Francis de Sales, St. Catherine of Genoa, St. Catherine of Siena, wrote books on the the spiritual life and/or meditation. St. John Chrysostom is called the Doctor of the Eucharist because he preached so marvelously on the Eucharist. His homilies are still read today. The Sayings of the Desert Fathers and The Ladder of Divine Ascent by St. John Climacus are spiritual classics in both East and West.I just find guided meditations from Buddhists to be very relaxing.
That’s literally what my catholic professor told me. I’m obviously not in a position to explain it. I trust her experience.Hope you didn’t pay for that.
Why’d you leave it behind if you don’t think it’s wrong?I have left Zen behind, now that I am Catholic
What is Truth? shrugsIt’s not about experience, it’s about Truth.
I don’t deny that. The Buddha didn’t call it God.Yeah the old many paths to God, except Jesus kind of throws a wrench in there…
I am the Way, the Truth and the LIfe. No one comes to the Father but through me.
I’m always open to a debate. I’m sure I’ll learn something!Ah so you really just want to have a debate. If you converted to Catholicism without knowing the answer to that then I imagine you had a bad experience with RCIA.
Good advice. I did already.my advice? Dump the buddha
Thanks for the advice.Whatever…my advice? Dump the buddha and replace it with a Crucifix. Then spend as much time as you can in front of the Blessed Sacrament.
