Is it okay for Catholics to own firearms so they can protect themselves and their loved ones?

Still, I wouldn’t advise anyone who isn’t armed and in a position of authority to approach such people and make demands.

It’s a matter best handled by the Police.

And if you read further to Luke 22- 49; one of Jesus’s asks to use his sword, then uses it before Jesus has answered. Jesus then heals the ear after it has been cut off.

I’m confident that a
.45 ACP or Colt hollow point on steroids (1000 fps) will stop Mr. Perp from any home invasion success.

Translated into contemporary English, a sword would be a Ruger Super Redhawk, maybe a Smith & Wesson Model 69.

He wouldn’t be carrying no purse gun, that’s for sure!

Mine is a compact 9mm. A Sig 365. Definitely a purse gun. But it could easily ruin someone’s day.

When I think purse gun, I think .380 or .32, lol.
As long as it doesn’t have a pink or teal finish and Barbie grips.

I finished paying for this today and started the 10 day. It comes with both .45 cylinders. Hoping it’s real loud and makes a nice fireball.(Please Note: This uploaded content is no longer available.)

Imagine the bad guy having to explain to his new cell block homies how he got stopped by a polymer Hello Kitty .32.

That said, I confess to having (only one) Glock. Aka recycled Tupperware. At least its a sporty .40.

Do those even rack, lol?
No, a .45 ACP boo-lit! 😃

I hear that if you fire 1,000 rounds, dump it in mud, hose it off, run it over, and dunk it in oil they’re not bad guns 😅

From a 2012 NPR interview with a Glock researcher that has some quite funny segments as well:
“The second thing, I think, you got to accept, is that most of those gun owners are law-abiding citizens, and most of them are doing no harm with those guns and many of them are very, very attached to them. If you deny the reality of the cultural importance of guns to many Americans, whether they’ve been in the military or in law enforcement or they grew up hunting, or they just like action movies. If you don’t accept that then you are rejecting reality. Beyond that, I think there’s plenty of room within the Second Amendment and within a respectfull attitude toward people who enjoy guns, to regulate their use in a very reasonable ways. In fact, we already do it. We have background check laws. We have a federal law that makes the crime for a felon, or someone who’s been adjudicated mentally ill, to acquire a gun.”

Those are the Glock selling points!
“A cop spilled an entire big gulp on his Glock, then got chocolate donut smeared into the action. Didn’t clean it, went to the range, it shot better than ever…” etc.

I am guessing the bad guys like action movies, you have to justify violence in some way.

Did you even read the interview? Guess not, or you’d know nobody is trying to “justify violence.”
