Yes it does answer my question but it doesn’t change my mind. If I were in a burning room, I would pray after I used a fire extinguisher to put the fire out just as I would pray after using every other means of self defense available to me. Mother Teresa had only her life to loose, I have mine and my family’s and I’m sure my faith is weaker then hers. Thanks Chantal and God BlessAs you doing with my post, i only mentioned that “Peter wasn’t a criminal and still he was told this quote by Jesus”.
Peter is never mentioned in the bible to have used the sword again.
As to answer your question if i feel that there isn’t any place for gun in society. Please read my other replies and you will see what i stand for and i am not against by any mean to protect our self. But again there are many ways to protect our self. Just read my other replies.
Guns can be seen a cool thing to own or have but, i think it is important to reevaluate our intention. I do feel that many get paranoid and having a gun is not the only way.
Anyway, we can argue and bring both great argument for either we should have a gun or not but i think what it should come down, is to do God’s will. All advance religious or spiritual person, typically never make a decision before prayer. Mother Teresa by all mean lived in such a dangerous place that owning a gun could have been justification for her but she went with different protection and faith. Again, not everyone has faith as her and after prayer if it feels right to have an additional protection, they should follow what feels right to them.
Hope this answer your question. All the best!
