It is quite believable once you consider the fact that Trump’s “condemnation” came about less than a month
Except Trump condemned racism many times before, but the media didn’t report on that which ironically supported racism and Trump at the same time.
Oh, Trump is quite willing to condemn the abstract concept of racism, but is extremely reluctant to say anything bad about specific instances or people or organizations that love him. He only responds in that manner after days and days of backlash. Then when he does finally come around he tries to make it look like he was saying that all along. Unfortunately for him, people remember.

If Biden gets elected,we will have open borders,no border patrol and the infiltration of The bad hombres as Trump referred to the drug dealers and rapists, will grow by leaps and bounds.

This entire editorial is bogus:
  1. Anyone who uses the “very fine people on both sides” quote is either a liar or totally brainwashed. As such, I refuse to listen to anything else that they have to say, because they have discredited themselves. If people don’t believe me, then watch the video for yourselves and see the truth.
  2. At the beginning of the campaign, he did not equate Mexicans with rapists and drug dealers. He probably could have been more careful about how he phrased it, but it’s clear if you watch his remarks that he is simply commenting on the reality of our previously poorly enforced southern border and the consequences of not knowing exactly who is coming into this country.
  3. Trump has denounced white supremacy, the KKK, etc. so many times, it’s not even funny anymore. Again, look up the videos, if you don’t believe me.
  4. I don’t know enough about the actual inner workings of the Proud Boys to make any conclusions about their character. All I know is that one of their chairmen is of Cuban descent and has stated that “we weren’t started as a white supremacist group, we didn’t become a white supremacist group, and we’re definitely not one now.” He has also said that their “message has never been about race” and that white supremacist groups should be labelled domestic terrorist organizations.
  5. People who were disaffected by President Obama were not disaffected because he was black, but because he was far too liberal/progressive, his administration was extremely corrupt, and he presided over terrible policy after terrible policy.
  6. The notion that Trump “revels in racism” is totally ridiculous.
  7. It is rude and inappropriate for the editors of a relatively major New England newspaper to basically say that if you vote for Trump, you’re a racist.
  8. I thought that it was rude and inappropriate for the OP to tell the poster SuperLawyer that his or her personal experiences regarding racism were meaningless because they did not fit with his narrative.
  9. CNN reported in October 2016 that “overall, 54% say relations between blacks and whites have gotten worse since Obama became president, including 57% of whites and 40% of blacks.” Thus, it can clearly be seen that the trend of poor race relations/an exacerbated racial divide has already been place for quite some time.

Trump is better liked by minorities than any other Republican president in recent memory.

The Dems need a wake-up call . . . they just assume the minority vote without doing much for them aside from lip service. So who’s more “racist?”

I’m not sure I can dismiss the US Intelligence reports so casually.

Trying to figure out how this guy, Enrique Tarrio, is chairman of a group considered white nationalist.

But then again I don’t believe boys can be girls, either.

Bwahahahahahahahaha

Oh yes, US intelligence are just the models of virtue and fair-dealing.

I will never get tired of Americans worshipping government agencies.

OK, yes Trump did reject the KKK’s endorsement. That’s one.

By the way, if I did not see or comment on your post am I lying? I almost never click on a post with a video – I’m scared of viruses. Check the difference between being mistaken and mis-stating facts.
Let ye who is without sine be the first to cast a stone…
… which is not the issue at all. How many in this country are the current president?

Perhaps it depends on where you are, but if you just go to work or school and look around, what racial divide is there?
Well, appearances can be misleading. Just because people are not at each others’ throats does not mean there is racial unity. I have very little patience with people on my hometown nostalgia site who say that everyone got along there in the fifties.

I’ll posit that the seeds of a lot of the current racial divisiveness were sown during h Obama administration.
Well, the spirit of Kafka is still alive. Obama had his nationality, his church and his background checked like no other president; before or since. And I will submit that after folks knew of the birth announcement in the Honolulu newspaper, birtherism was nothing more than racism.

So his administration caused the divide? I think it showed some things about how people felt about race. It was Obama saying at the DNC convention in 2004 that “there’s not red states and blue states but the United States of America”. After that, Trump basically told America that in the country it was ‘us vs. them’.

Don’t blame Obama or his administration for Trump’s racial divisiveness.

Let’s look at the violent crime rates by racial profile, White on Black violence and Black on White violence, compare them, and let’s see who is causing the “racial divide” and who is a victim of it.

There isn’t a palatable candidate and hasn’t been for some time. What are you gonna do? 🤷‍♂️

Trump’s comment
No, you left out exactly what Trump said. As to partiality he stated in an interview, Mr. Trump that "U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel had “an absolute conflict” in presiding over the litigation given that he was “of Mexican heritage” and a member of a Latino lawyers’ association. "

" On Friday the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, dismissing criticism from legal experts on the right and left, pressed his case against U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel, saying the Indiana-born judge is biased against him because “he’s a Mexican. We’re building a wall between here and Mexico.”

Trump made the remarks, and others like it, repeatedly, in interviews with CNN and The Wall Street Journal, referring to Judge Curiel variously as “of Mexican heritage” or just “Mexican.” But the message was always the same, that the judge had what Trump called “a conflict” because of his ethnicity."

That’s not impossible at all. But Proud Boys is not the point. The group only got mentioned when Trump would not condemn white supremacy as a viewpoint, but demanded a group name.

  1. Talk to more minority voters.
  2. The question is if voters can ignore Trump’s racial divisiveness.

Nice deflection. Do you know how much violent crime crosses the racial divide? When it crosses is income the same or do poor folk commit crimes against folks with more money?

Let’s deal with the issues.

I’m not a Trump fan. However, I think it is patently ridiculous to assert that voting for him is endorsing racism, on every level. It’s pure garbage. I have zero respect for anyone that believes and promotes this garbage narrative.
