**The Topic is Islam and the virgin birth of Jesus. In Islam there is news of the birth of a son for Mary. The news the angel gave to Mary was for a youngman (Ghulam) who has the age of more than 16 years. A son who would grow to some good age and will preach and will be made a messenger for the children of Israel (Jews). That is exactly what happened… There is not a word about any virgin birth in the Quran.
It is same in the bible NT too where the physical line (geneology) of Jesus is described via king david and upto Joseph the carpenter. Joseph was the legal husband of Mary, the mother of Jesus. If Joseph has nothing to do about the birth of Jesus then Jesus cannot hail from King David.**

What the heck? Even I know that’s a lie, and I don’t even own a Quran!
You have clearly forgotten about Mary’s reply to the one who brought her that news. She asks him: “How shall I have a son, seeing that no man has touched me, and I am not unchaste?” His reply is: “So (it will be): thy Lord saith, ‘That is easy for Me: and (We wish) to appoint him as a Sign unto men and a Mercy from Us.’ It is a matter (so) decreed.”
It’s all here, in verses 20 and 21.
Clearly, the Quran supports the Virgin Birth, but our question is why? Other prophets are not birthed in this way, and yet in the verse quoted above, no real explanation is given other than “God can do whatever He wants”, which is of course true but doesn’t explain the anomaly of Jesus’ birth!

If there is no virgin birth in the Koran, who is Jesus’ father? If Mary was not a virgin, why did God supposedly breathe of His Spirit into Mary’s private parts???

And Mary, daughter of 'Imran, whose body was chaste, therefore We breathed therein something of Our Spirit.
Joseph became Jesus’ father through adoption. Jesus’ genealogy in Matthew is based on His regal line.

**If you can explain the doubtful birth of Jesus and get away with it, we can also explain everything in the similar manner. That one question about the birth of Jesus is hard on you and there is no legal explanation for that.
Then you have to explain why your god was praying? Do Gods also pray? Then why did a god die? Initially your god was not willing to preach to any non-Jew. Then in the end, when the Jews did not listen to him, he suddenly changed his policy (That was a strict policy) and felt like preaching to other nations.
Why was the God preaching? Do gods preach too. What for? That people believe in them as a god? There could be a long list for you too to answer and I am sure you will have no answer.**
