I want to know what he did with the stones afterward. Were they recyclable? Probably not since he seemed to be looking for them all the time - or making other people look for them! 😛
 
while i’m reading through the first tow pages , the question raised by jakazaki about how God or an angle didn’t know that mohammed (pbuh) can’t read

i’m not sure if this question be answered lateley , so i wil say my thoughts briefly

the main mission of the angel jebrile was to transmit the quran to mohammed (pbuh) , the angle recite the verses then the prophet repeat the words after him .

what the angele did in the first apperance was exactly the same
the angle said to him read / recite , the prophet thought that he want from him to read while in the fact the angel just wanted to him to repeat the words after him
the prophet understood that in the third time of the saying of jebril

why might the angle seemed violent !! , we don’t know , may be it was important for mohammed (pbuh) to know how far this massage is very important , strict , hard and heavy misson

if you don’t have enough knowlege so you have to ask those who have that knowlege instead of come up with your own conlusions which is referenced to poor knowledge

that’s why the christians asking priest , and that’s why the muslims asking their imamas and that’s why the nonmuslims should to ask muslims about islam and that’s why the nonarabs should to asking arabs about arabic

so yes , the most you have knowledge about something the most you can comprehend accuratly

Well said elvill, hope you and finding fingers will answer all the sayings posed by jakasaki, what they stand for without jumping the gun on Holy Bible, or Christians or Jews. So hope we can stick to the subject without going away from it. and also can I ask for one more favor from both of you? Do answer my question on Noah, I asked a simple question and no muslim has given me a simple answer form islamic point of view

but why you guys fear the comparisons between relegions
it’s wisdom to know the culture and relegion and nature and thoughts of your debater before debating with him

anyway , i’m in page 6 now through my readings , i just fear to answer questions which may be answered in later posts

Volume 1, Book 4, Number 162: Narrated Abu Huraira:

**The Prophet said, “Whoever performs ablution should clean his nose with water by putting the water in it and then blowing it out, and whoever cleans his private parts with stones should do it with odd number of stones.” **
Very superstitous… writtings on the wall…
 
Volume 1, Book 4, Number 163: Narrated Abu Huraira:

**Allah’s Apostle said, "If anyone of you performs ablution he should put water in his nose and then blow it out and whoever cleans his private parts with stones should do so with odd numbers.

And whoever wakes up from his sleep should wash his hands before putting them in the water for ablution, because nobody knows where his hands were during sleep." **

Volume 1, Book 4, Number 173: Narrated Abu Huraira:

**Allah’s Apostle said, “If a dog drinks from the utensil of anyone of you it is essential to wash it seven times.” **

Volume 1, Book 4, Number 189: Narrated As-Sa’ib bin Yazid:

My aunt took me to the Prophet and said, “O Allah’s Apostle! This son of my sister has got a disease in his legs.”

So he passed his hands on my head and prayed for Allah’s blessings for me; then he performed ablution and I drank from the remaining water.

**I stood behind him and saw the seal of Prophethood between his shoulders, and it was like the “Zir-al-Hijla” (means the button of a small tent, but some said ‘egg of a partridge.’ etc.) **
I remember reading this one a while back that the “seal of prophethood” was a mole type of thing on mohamads shoulders. Sounds funky to me!
 
Volume 1, Book 4, Number 229: Narrated 'Aisha:

**I used to wash the traces of Janaba (semen) from the clothes of the Prophet and he used to go for prayers while traces of water were still on it (water spots were still visible). **

This one was always one of my favorites. Poor Aisha…
 
lume 1, Book 4, Number 234: Narrated Abu Qilaba:

Anas said, "Some people of 'Ukl or 'Uraina tribe came to Medina and its climate did not suit them.

So the Prophet ordered them to go to the herd of (Milch) camels and to drink their milk and urine (as a medicine). So they went as directed and after they became healthy, they killed the shepherd of the Prophet and drove away all the camels.

**The news reached the Prophet early in the morning and he sent (men) in their pursuit and they were captured and brought at noon. He then ordered to cut their hands and feet (and it was done), and their eyes were branded with heated pieces of iron, **

They were put in ‘Al-Harra’ and when they asked for water, no water was given to them." Abu Qilaba said, “Those people committed theft and murder, became infidels after embracing Islam and fought against Allah and His Apostle .”
I know we discussed this hadith in lenght as prerious threads. Yes, what these people did was not right, but mohamads punishment against them is 100 times not right.

Hopefully this wasn’t as gross as it sounds. Maybe he just meant out of the pitcher of water or something.
 
We now move to:** Translation of Sahih Bukhari, Book 5: Bathing (Ghusl) **

Volume 1, Book 5, Number 248: Narrated 'Aisha:

**Whenever the Prophet took a bath after Janaba he started by washing his hands and then performed ablution like that for the prayer. After that he would put his fingers in water and move the roots of his hair with them, and then pour three handfuls of water over his head and then pour water all over his body. **
Many of these hadiths state the mohamad would do things/acts 3 times. Why 3? Anyone know?
 
ume 1, Book 5, Number 268: Narrated Qatada:

**Anas bin Malik said, “The Prophet used to visit all his wives in a round, during the day and night and they were eleven in number.”

I asked Anas, “Had the Prophet the strength for it?”

Anas replied, “We used to say that the Prophet was given the strength of thirty (men).”

And Sa’id said on the authority of Qatada that Anas had told him about nine wives only (not eleven). **
11 wives!
 
Volume 1, Book 5, Number 270: Narrated Muhammad bin Al-Muntathir:

**on the authority of his father that he had asked 'Aisha about the saying of Ibn 'Umar(i.e. he did not like to be a Muhrim while the smell of scent was still coming from his body).

'Aisha said, “I scented Allah’s Apostle and he went round (had sexual intercourse with) all his wives, and in the morning he was Muhrim (after taking a bath).” **
I’m lost for words!
 
Volume 1, Book 5, Number 277: Narrated Abu Huraira:

**The Prophet said, 'The (people of) Bani Israel used to take bath naked (all together) looking at each other. The Prophet Moses used to take a bath alone.

They said, ‘By Allah! Nothing prevents Moses from taking a bath with us except that he has a scrotal hernia.’

So once Moses went out to take a bath and put his clothes over a stone and then that stone ran away with his clothes.

Moses followed that stone saying, “My clothes, O stone! My clothes, O stone! till the people of Bani Israel saw him and said, 'By Allah, Moses has got no defect in his body. Moses took his clothes and began to beat the stone.”

Abu Huraira added, “By Allah! There are still six or seven marks present on the stone from that excessive beating.”

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "When the Prophet Job (Aiyub) was taking a bath naked, golden locusts began to fall on him. Job started collecting them in his clothes. His Lord addressed him, ‘O Job! Haven’t I given you enough so that you are not in need of them.’ Job replied, ‘Yes!’ By Your Honor (power)! But I cannot dispense with Your Blessings.’ " **
This is one fascinating!

The Jews take baths together while naked ~ Moses takes a bath alone ~ places his clothes on the rocks and the rocks take off with his clothes.

Moses chaces after the rocks and beats them leaving scars on them… :rolleyes: and Moses has scrotal hernia to boot!
 
End of Bathing (Ghusl) ~ all of the rest of the hadiths in this book deal with all sorts of things I wish not to post for discussion. I’m also going to skip book #6 Menstrual Periods.

I sort of dumped it because there was very little participation.

It’s too bad because there are great hadiths out there to discuss. I guess people aren’t interested in the islamic hadiths. 🤷
