i’d add the contradictions/abrogations in Quran and hadith that many Muslims do not agree what is there anymore and what is not…after all, Allah says he peserves his words, but mentioned nothing about preserving the meaning…and no authority,so pick the interpretation you want and therefore pick the good or the bad and let the other Muslim call you kaffir for following the “wrong” path and answer him back that he is not a good Muslim for picking other approaches…that’s dimocracy.

regarding the word Islam, it means surrender, not peace…just because 2 words have the same root does not mean they share the same meaning…obvious to any Arab speaking.
 
Something you have to remember also about “Islam”… according to the Koran…it is perfectly alright for a Muslim to lie and deceive a non-Muslim, but not another Muslim… go figure:eek: 🤷

SO that little factoid has a slight tendency to bring into question just about any statement made by a Muslim if it is addressed to a non-Muslim…
 
I do not want to know whether Islam is good or bad, for I know that what it teaches is untrue. This is enough.

We have discussed that with the muslims on this thread and they will argue until the veins come out of their necks that is not so. You can quote the koran and hadiths to them - and some will even say they don’t follow the hadiths! They will ignore what is posted from the koran itself and also deflect anything posted by bringing out other things.

It is why I don’t trust ANY so called ‘moderate’ muslim anymore. I look at them as brainwashed, zombie robots trying to shove their ‘religion’ down our throats.

Recently, we shoved back - at Tyson. We need to do the same whenever we hear they are trying to do segregation (under the guise of modesty when the reasons they want it is due to them looking at muslim women and infidels as dirty). If whites did that to them or any minority - there would be such an outcry that it would be deafening.

Some countries, and even our own states, are rewriting history so as to not ‘offend’ muslims. That was the stupidest thing I have ever heard. Did we worry about offending the Germans, Russians, Japanese, etc??!! With the left in charge of our schools - they are in major appeasement mode and willing to bend over for whatever the muslims want to shove at us. And that old saying, ‘if you don’t learn history then you will be condemned to repeat it’ comes to mind also.

right now we have the MSA (muslim student association) in our colleges and they have KNOWN ties to the muslim brotherhood. and with the muslim brotherhood’s documents called, ‘The Project’, discovered - they have admitted to working to bring down our government.

We should really give the Muslims a break I mean what have Muslims ever done to us? Well other than blow up some of our Buildings Kill 3000 people in a matter of minutes. Behead our soldiers and a couple journalists. Take over our Embassies, bomb some of our Boats. I mean other then that the Fruit of Islam has been pretty loving, ok also lets forget about the time they invaded Spain and Jerusalem, oh and how many of them sided with Hitler during WWII. Really they have nothing bad to say about us… well except calling the US Satan, really its harmless its not like they really mean it.

points for irony!! however, if i were muslim im sure that id be beaten to death by now because i wouldnt :bowdown: to my husband, im waaay too much for a muslim man to handle…boy, if he can’t control his wife, itd be a threat to his manhood and ego and that’d be the end of me dramatic back of the hand to the forehead and half-faint:tiphat: :rotfl: oh wait, maybe instead of being beaten to death id be stoned to death…hmm…😛 that sounds much kinder…just as long as it was a good solid rock that was used…you know how im sure they would hate to have me suffer…:rolleyes:

however, in all seriousness, i find it very sad that these women are treated as such. its quite horrible, and it may have been wrong of me to jest. so for that, i apologize.

i guess all we can do as Christians is pray lots and lots and make small sacrifices for our brothers and sisters who follow islam.

Education does not make one “good”, as a matter of fact, many have been “educated into ignorance” as Father Corapi has so succinctly put it!!
 
Oh, and R_Not, I agree totally!! However, I take it a step a further. I don’t trust any muslim as far as can kick 'em. How could one after seeing how they explain koranic quotes and hadiths?
 
Jesus said something about “…a kingdom divided”…sounds like islam…
 
…taqiyya and qitman does not mean every single Muslim will lie about his religion in all circumstances and all the time…most of the posters here present what they know and believe without lying…and usually it is a Shia thing…Sunni do not believe it despite the ample Shia evidences…

Your Father Corapi is married?? Most of you have earned a lot of respect by your posts on this thread, having a good time as one way traffic on both sides.
 
There is a person being described as father Corapi. I wanted to know if that father Corapi was married. That is because I see so many unmarried fathers in christians. Nothing more.
 
I suspect he will be at a loss of words too - after reading your reply. When i think of planten i think of jibberish. I bet he thinks the same of me too. 😃
 
I guess Planten thinks and writes that way because he is a devout Muslim and he was educated that way. Most of the time he needs to defend his faith against us at the expense of logic and his personal tenets. Whenever he feels in panic, he starts writing posts without thinking.

IMPO, it is good to have posters like Planten here. His posts help us see how Muslims generally view our faith. Thus, we should not attack him personally.
