before, i dont want to be to critical of islam. i want to debate it, because i dont like it, and it hink it encourages violence “int he name of allah”. we can see this in various verses in the quaran, and in the fact that islam itself means submission, not peace. i just dont want to be hatefull about it. so, i dont like islam, but i dont hate muslims.

Maybe you can answer my questions about Islam. I was just wandering why the koran tells muslims to “smite the necks” of unbelievers. Or to make them submit. islam itself means submission. why, on sept.11, did muslims all around the world cheer? why did they raise money for jihadists? i just dont get it. yes, the bible does say to kill idol worshipers…in the OT. In the NT, jesus says to preach peacfuly, and even he does not wish to kill anyone, ever, at any time. but if i can recall, there was a story that a jewish woman poisoned muhammad. he did not try to convert her, he kills her. here we can see a clear distinction between jesus and muhammad, and that jesus truly is the son of he who liveth for ever and ever. so, if you can respond that would be great. and please use verses from the koran in your response.

Yes it is sad. what is even more sad is that those who were born into the religion of Islam, are very misguided. They have talking points, and hardly ever answer anything the way it is asked, they just twist it around and put words in your mouth. like protestants.

We can never rest again. I have posted that many times here and on other threads. muslims never rest - islam is an eternal war - and we cannot rest because when we do, islam advances. And the end is the same whether it begins with a stealth jihad or a violent jihad - death, conversion or subjugation of the non-muslims.

The OT is something we can look back on and get encouragement from, just by seing how much faith was in god. But the OT is really only holy For Jews, who call it the Torah. We get our true guidance in how to live in the gospel of christ. i really do like to learn about other faiths but its kind of hard when theres no where to get answers from. Let me just ask you: what crosses your mind when you read a verse about forcing someone to convert, or to “smite their necks?” i mean, do you think thats ok, or do you disagree? or is their something im not getting? thanks.

I disagree. Just look at the number of times you have mentioned your prophet’s name. I reiterate: He is still guiding the minds of Muslims today. There have been many prophets mentioned in the OT - none as egoistical*. None* demanded their names to be called out during prayers or recital. All prophets of the OT bestowed power to God only. Even John the Baptist did not demand anyone to call out his name when praying. Instead, he acknowledged Jesus’ divinity and paid Him due respect.

Mohammad on the other hand, begged his followers to evoke his name so God may grant him a ‘special place’ in paradise. That emphasis alone is suspicious. Muslims claim Mohammad is only a “messenger”, remember? He is not a divine being, remember?
