christos by the way no Muslim has really attempted to refute this post and all the
evidence that Islam plagiarized very heavily from various Christian texts. perhaps you can offer some response. I mean a response other than the Muslim blanket argument " they were all previous revelations of Allah so its not plagiarism" which is an unproven assertion to say the least.

Indian Antiquity

The factors required for the production of the foetus were thought to be

•the father’s semen
•the mother’s blood (sonita) or more specifically menstrual blood (artava)
•the atman, or subtle body (consisting of fire, earth, air and water in the proper proportions)
•the manas or mind, united to a particular embryo by reason of its karma.

The idea of the blood being menstrual blood is interesting as it closely resembles Aristotelian doctrine. The clotting of milk into cheese analogy used by Aristotle for the formation of the embryo occurs also in Indian embryology. The Susruta-samhita compares the creamy layers (santanika) formed in milk, to semen and blood, which through chemical changes caused by heat, produce seven different layers of skin (kala). This concept occurs again in a Sutra on embryology written in Sanskrit, “Development, 0 Ananda,” Buddha is made to say, “is comparable to a vessel of milk, like as this ferments and forms a kind of kefir or cheese.” (A history of Embryology, J. Needham pp 25-27, Cambridge, 2nd edition 1959).

Hippocrates(460-377BC)
In the treatise on Regimen section 9 discusses the formation of the embryo. The description is based on the fundamental physiological idea at the time, that is the two main constituents of all natural bodies are fire and water. Both of these in turn consist of heat, dryness and moisture in differing proportions.

“Whatever may be the sex which chance gives to the embryo, it is set in motion, being humid, by fire, and thus it extracts its nourishment from the food and breath introduced into the mother. First of all this attraction is the same throughout because the body is porous but by the motion and the fire it dries up and solidifies as it solidifies, a dense outer crust is formed, and then the fire inside cannot any more draw in sufficient nourishment and does not expel the air because of the density of the surrounding surface. It therefore consumes the interior humidity. In this way parts naturally solid being up to a point hard and dry are not consumed to feed the fire but fortify and condense themselves the more the humidity disappears-these are called bones and nerves. The fire burns up the mixed humidity and forwards development towards the natural disposition of the body in this manner; through the solid and dry parts it cannot make permanent channels but it can do so through the soft wet parts, for these are all nourishment to it. There is also in these parts a certain dryness, which the fire does not consume, and they become compacted one to another. Therefore the most interior fire, being closed round on all sides, becomes the most abundant and makes the most canals for itself (for that was the wettest part) and this is called the belly. Issuing out from thence, and finding no nourishment outside, it makes the air pipes and those for conducting and distributing food. As for the enclosed fire, it makes three circulations in the body and what were the most humid parts become the venae cavae. In the intermediate part the remainder of the water contracts and hardens forming the flesh.”

Aristotle (384-322 BC)
"The foregoing discussion will have made it clear that the female, though it does not contribute any semen to generation, yet contributes something, viz., the substance constituting the menstrual fluid (or the corresponding substance in bloodless animals). But the same is apparent if we consider the matter generally, from the theoretical standpoint. Thus: there must be that which generates, and that out of which it generates ; and even if these two be united in one, at any rate they must differ in kind, and in that the essence of each of them is distinct. In those animals in which these two faculties are separate, the body - that is to say the physical nature- of the active partner and of the passive must be different. Thus, if the male is the active partner, the one which originates the movement, and the female qua female is the passive one, surely what the female contributes to the semen of the male will be not semen but material. And this is in fact what we find happening; for the natural substance of the menstrual fluid is to be classed as “prime matter.” (Aristotle (English trans. A. L. Peck, Heinemann, 1942 edition, Generation of Animals, p.111, 729a).

Galen (129-199AD)

“But for the present I need not speak of the foetus as an animal, for as a plant it got all its generation and formation from the semen, and right from the start it indicated, as plants do, that the beginning of its motion and formation was two-fold. The downward and underground growth of roots in plants corresponds in the foetus to the growth of the arteries and veins of the chorion to the uterus; and the ascending stalk in plants corresponds to the out growths from the three ruling parts in embryos. Again, just as plants have a two-fold growth from seeds, sending stalk and branches upward as far as the outer most shoots and dividing the root-growth downward, so also the embryos have much-divided outgrowths consisting in arteries and veins that extend as stalks to the whole foetus and as roots to the uterus.” (Corpus Medicorum Graecorum: Galeni de Semine: Galen: On Semen (Greek text with English trans. Phillip de Lacy, Akademic Verlag, 1992) section I:9:1-10, pp. 91-95)

Now tell me do any of these seem to be like that revealed in the quran, and please refer to the source and their sources if you still doubt the text.

Now lets take a look as to how it is written in the Book of Job starting at 10:09 KJV

“Remember, I beseech thee, that thou hast fashioned me as clay; and wilt thou bring me into the dust again! Hast thou not poured me out as milk, and curdled me like cheese? Thou hast clothed me with skin and flesh, and knit me together with bones and sinews.”

Now lets compare this to the teachings of Aristotle. (Im going to recopy a paragraph from earlier)

Who is the Plagiarizers now? Tell me.

See first we have to assertain that the Quran is the word of God. We have to put the Quran to many tests. For a second ignore all other scriptures as hard as it may be and test the Quran alone without prejudice which i know for many christians its extremely hard, but only when that is done you will see the truth. The Quran has placed many challeges towards people and yet till today no one has been able to prove the quran wrong. Also, the Muslim Scholars were always asked as to what was Iram, the City that the Quran mentions. A Christian Convert, Gary Miller, in his short essay tells us here

The City of Iram

The Qur’an mentions a city by the name of Iram (89:7). The city of
Iram has been unknown to History, so unknown that even Muslim
commentators, out of embarrassment or feeling apologetic for their
religion, have commented on this mention of the city in the Qur’an as
being perhaps figurative, that Iram was possibly a man and not a
city.

In 1973, the excavation in Syria at the site of the ancient city of
Eblus uncovered the largest collection of cuneiform writings on clay
tablets ever assembled. In fact, the library discovered in Eblus
contains more clay tablets that are more than four thousand years old
than all the other tablets combined from all other sites.

Interestingly enough, you will find the details in the National
Geographic of 1978 which confirms that in those tablets the city of
Iram is mentioned. The people of Eblus used to do business with the
people of Iram. So here in 1973, comes confirmation of the fact that,
after all, there really was an ancient city by that name, wherever it
was. How did it find its way into the Qur’an, we might ask? "

So how did this City find it’s way into the Qur’an. Obviously, many people with can come up with many theories, but just as you Christians follow many things based on faith alone, we do not. The actual discovery of these Tablets is just one example that tell us this Book is no ordinary book, but the Word of God.

I can give more examples if you like. This was just one that immediately popped to my mind.

hahah job was written before Aristotle. You can read a refutation of this argument here answering-islam.org/Responses/Saifullah/embryo.htm

why does the roan say that sperm comes from between your ribs and backbone which is just like the Greek concept?

Speaking of plagiarism you have still failed to refute this post explain to me how a Christian staint hymns got into your Koran, how did spurious apocryphal stories some of which were written hundreds of years after the fact make their way into your Koran? How did the Christian myth the 7 sleepers of Ephesus make its way into your Koran in surah al kahb.

doesnt answer my accusations agianst islam in anyway and if you want to convince me of soemthing then show me archeological evidence proving that mecca existed around 2000 BC , the time of ibrahim. None exists!

Well, i could simply tell you that the Quran is the word of God and that these stories are true. However you deny that the Quran is the word of God, so therefore I must take another route.

You tell me that the Quran stole these from the Apocrypha. The Apocrypha were chosen by men 300 years after Jesus. When the men of the Council of Nicaea could not even count the number of attendees correctly, how can you take these peoples judgement as to what to keep in the bible and what to throw out.
Constantine had invited all 1800 bishops of the Christian church (about 1000 in the east and 800 in the west), but a lesser and unknown number attended. Eusebius of Caesarea counted 250, Athanasius of Alexandria counted 318, and Eustathius of Antioch counted 270 (all three were present at the council). Later, Socrates Scholasticus recorded more than 300, and Evagrius, Hilarius, Jerome and Rufinus recorded 318.

Just as we have the interpolation in the bibles of today, it is highly possible that many of the Apocrypha were actually inspired by God, but had interpolations and thus was removed from the bible. Just becuase these books had interpolations did not mean that it was not the word of God. We Muslims believe that the bible now, and of old are filled with interpolations, some minor, some great. I would also like to note that it was also during the Nicaen Council that the divity of Jesus Christ was voted on. Following that, the Bible was kept from the public in the hands of the “All Powerful Priests” (i mean it in the greatest of sarcasm) for over a thousand years. Furthermore, the first people who tried to translate the Bible into English and other languages were killed with the authority of the Church. Can you explain all of this? To me this seems like they were keeping the bible away from the mass, for some unknow reason known to themselves and the All-Knowing God.

Im really tired at the moment and im stressing my mind to think, so please do forgive me if im missing something in here. I know this is not a suitable enough response. In the end,

“Lakum deenu kum, Wa liyadeen”
(For you is your religion, and for me is my religion)
Quran 109:06

See i can steep to your level and say, “Ask any scientist and he will tell you that the earth is millions, rather billions of years old. Therefore Makkah** existed around 2000 BC.” Forgive me if i have in any way disrespected you, for that was not my intent

**Note: Please use this spelling for city please, thank you.

Oh, well, I don’t know what you will think of this, but By Almight-God, I swear that if I was allowed to take the Hajre Aswad from Makkah, and use carbon-dating to see how old the stone actually is, we could prove that Makkah did exist 2000BC, and as we believe even before then. Unfortunately, I am not able to, and it is highly unlikely that it would ever happen just to suit the desires of the Non-Muslims, because truth say, many would still disbelieve considering that to be of no relevance or would simply not care/believe.

Once again, you will always bring another question for us Muslims to prove. I’m giving you proof as to the accuracy of the Quran in historical facts, and yet you disbelieve, and you require archeological proofs. For us Muslims, we have the Maqaame Ibrahim, the foorprints of Abraham (Peace Be Upon Him), but still you would deny that also, and request more proof. You’re not here for the basis of just learning and sharing, you are here simply to disprove the Authority of the Quran, Muslims and Islam in General, whereby the Authority of the Bible itself hangs on a thread. Sorry if im wrong in my accusations, this is just my assumption/what i think.

P.S. Other people, please dont respond saying i accused you, i am speaking to this person only.

Yes i believe the Original Job was written before Aristotle, even though the author of it is uncertain, usually it is given credit to Moses. However, isn’t it possible that the theories of Aristotle were interpolated into the Bible, just like many other interpolations. I like that word, makes it sound like something small, something minor, when adding or changing the word of God is a Great Sin. Well atleast in the eyes of the Muslims it is. I’m still unsure about the Christian perspective. Please enlighten me.

The Quran Beutifully tells us about the alteration of the Old Testament/Taurat/Torah.

Surah Baqara
75. Do you (faithful believers) covet that they will believe in your religion inspite of the fact that a party of them (Jewish rabbis) used to hear the Word of Allah [the Taurat (Torah)], then they used to change it knowingly after they understood it?
  1. And when they (Jews) meet those who believe (Muslims), they say, “We believe”, but when they meet one another in private, they say, “Shall you (Jews) tell them (Muslims) what Allah has revealed to you [Jews, about the description and the qualities of Prophet Muhammad Peace be upon him , that which are written in the Taurat (Torah)] , that they (Muslims) may argue with you (Jews) about it before your Lord?” Have you (Jews) then no understanding?
  2. Know they (Jews) not that Allah knows what they conceal and what they reveal?
  3. And there are among them (Jews) unlettered people, who know not the Book, but they trust upon false desires and they but guess.
  4. Then woe to those who write the Book with their own hands and then say, “This is from Allah,” to purchase with it a little price! Woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for that they earn thereby.
  5. And they (Jews) say, “The Fire (i.e. Hell-fire on the Day of Resurrection) shall not touch us but for a few numbered days.” Say (O Muhammad Peace be upon him to them): “Have you taken a covenant from Allah, so that Allah will not break His Covenant? Or is it that you say of Allah what you know not?”
  6. Yes! Whosoever earns evil and his sin has surrounded him, they are dwellers of the Fire (i.e. Hell); they will dwell therein forever.

  1. Say to (them): “If the home of the Hereafter with Allah is indeed for you specially and not for others, of mankind, then long for death if you are truthful.”
  2. But they will never long for it because of what their hands have sent before them (i.e. what they have done). And Allah is All-Aware of the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers).

Show me 1 verse saying the NT is corrupted? This is not what i asked from you as again you dodge the topic at the beginning of this post which proved that the Koran is guilty of plagiarism. did you even bothered to read it? I expected some response not this stuff . you think this convinces me of anything?

if you are going to argue that bring some manuscripts which prove that this was interpolated

If you want to talk about people changing god’s word i suggest you research the sana manuscripts which prove that the Koran has been seriously altered before you complain about the NT which has no manuscript anywhere as damning.

The Quran was not seriously altered. It says that some words have a possible of upto 30 meanings because it is without the vowel markings. Even though it did not have the vowel markings on them at the time, because of the Memorization by hundreds, rather thousands of people, the true form remained. The true root word remained because at that time most people were illiterate as was the prophet. Therefore, they were more atuned to remembering the words, rather than knowing the spelling of the word and its possible different meanings.

Also, The Quran Challenged the Arabs to produce something of the like, which has such beauty, such eloquence. Many people have tried, and failed to do so. And quite often it was found that they would use the verses of the Quran, and just slightly change them trying to claim them as their own, but their lies were caught outright.

Even now, in the Arab world, A book called The True Furqan is being passed around to Muslims and others for free, claiming to be part of the Quran, but it is an abomination.

Furthermore, the fact is that the existence of minor differences in wording and in the ordering of the surahs in the earliest masahif (manuscripts) is no surprise to Muslims familiar with classical Islamic scholarship of the Qur’an. Such variations occurred for several reasons. One factor is the dialectical differences then existing in different regions of Arabia. Another is that some of the Sahaba kiram (Companions) recorded such masahif for their own personal use. As these persons had either memorised the Qur’an in its entirety or large portions of it, such masahif were written merely as an aid to memory. Therefore, notes in the margins such as the wording of du’as (supplications) occurred, and the order of surahs varied. Books written by classical Muslim scholars, such as al-Suyuti’s Itqan, go into great detail about such issues.

When the the Khalifa 'Uthman ibn 'Affan ordered that one standard text be used and others destroyed, the Sahaba who possessed masahif containing variants did not object to this ruling, which shows that they agreed with his verdict. Moreover, in the subsequent civil war between the supporters of the Khalifa Ali ibn Abi-Talib and Mu’awiya, calls for arbitration according to the Qur’an never involved claims that the other side had an incomplete or changed Qur’an. This would have been a convenient and devastating weapon if it could have been at all convincing. Knowledge about these variations has been preserved by classical Muslim scholarship, and has been useful to scholars of tafsir (Qur’anic interpretation). It was never seen as evidence against the integrity of the Qur’anic text

The fact that the original text was washed off and re written with another has convinced some scholars the quran has been changed. The original text when it was examined forensically revealed that it had been altered and re-edited. Yet Muslims say not 1 word has ever been changed, that it’s the same as when Jibril (allaegedly) revealed it. This is not the case, these manuscripts. Yes that’s true without these vowel markings each word had up to 30 different meanings. And you are complaining about corruption in the bible? Haha what hypocrisy! You have no answer for the Sana manuscripts and if they weren’t damning then the Yemenite authorities wouldn’t be hiding them away preventing further examination.

Memorization? Mohammad himself forgot the Koran! (and jibril allegedly recited it to him once a year)

Sahih Bukhari i Volume 6, Book 61, Number 562:
Narrated 'Aisha:
The Prophet heard a reciter reciting, the Qur’an in the mosque at night. The Prophet said, “May Allah bestow His Mercy on him, as he has remind ed me of such-and-such Verses of such and-such Suras, which I missed!”
Sahih Bukhari Volume 6, Book 61, Number 558:
Narrated Aisha:
Allah’s Apostle heard a man reciting the Qur’an at night, and said, “May Allah bestow His Mercy on him, as he has reminded me of such-and-such Verses of such-and-such Suras, which I was caused to forget.”

Sahih Bukhari Volume 6, Book 61, Number 550:
Narrated Abdullah:
The Prophet said, “It is a bad thing that some of you say, ‘I have forgotten such-and-such verse of the Qur’an,’ for indeed, he has been caused (by Allah) to forget it. So you must keep on reciting the Qur’an because it escapes from the hearts of men faster than camel do.”

Sahih Bukhari Volume 6, Book 61, Number 552:
Narrated Abu Musa:
The Prophet said, “Keep on reciting the Qur’an, for, by Him in Whose Hand my life is, Quran runs away (is forgotten) faster than camels that are released from their tying ropes.”

If Muslims memorised it so well why do the sana manuscripts reveal such huge variations? You cannot prove this “ perfect memorisation” argument.

This is what Gerd Puin, A Quran scholar, Arabic Colligraphy expert and Orthographer at Saarland University said about the manuscripts after examining them
“My idea is that the Koran is a kind of cocktail of texts that were not all understood even at the time of Muhammad. Many of them may even be a hundred years older than Islam itself. Even within the Islamic traditions there is a huge body of contradictory information, including a significant Christian substrate; one can derive a whole Islamic anti-history from them if one wants. The Qur’an claims for itself that it is ‘mubeen,’ or clear, but if you look at it, you will notice that every fifth sentence or so simply doesn’t make sense. Many Muslims will tell you otherwise, of course, but the fact is that a fifth of the Qur’anic text is just incomprehensible. This is what has caused the traditional anxiety regarding translation. If the Qur’an is not comprehensible, if it can’t even be understood in Arabic, then it’s not translatable into any language. That is why Muslims are afraid. Since the Qur’an claims repeatedly to be clear but is not—there is an obvious and serious contradiction. Something else must be going on.”

The True Furqan ? What that? I have never ehard of it?

so if the quran has slight differences in its wording its ok? but if the NT has the same thing caused by scribal errors its corrupted? I know there are 1300 variants just between the Samarqand and Topkapi Koran’s but if the NT has textual variants its corrupted? As i have said previously almost all of the variants were caused by scribal errors
This occurred in the 5000 manuscripts which scribes copied . such errors are bound to occur when copying a text manually. Of all these scribal errors on 1% change the meaning of the text in any significant way and they do not threaten any Christian doctrines.

. But you cannot hold such a double standard one thing is ok for the Koran and its not for the NT just because you alleged people memorized it word for word?
. A person’s memory as fallible as their pen so such an argument that is highly unsubstantiated as you can never prove how well it was memorized.

You alledged that for it to be the word of god not 1 single word can change but even your Koran doesn’t live up to this.

… if I was allowed to take the Hajre Aswad from Makkah, and use carbon-dating to see how old the stone actually is, we could prove that Makkah did exist 2000BC, …
I suppose radiocarbon dating is in the Qur’an also. In any event, radiocarbon dating works only on organic substances and not rocks.
“Plants take up atmospheric carbon dioxide by photosynthesis, and are ingested by animals [including humans], so every living thing is constantly exchanging carbon-14 with its environment as long as it lives. Once it dies, however, this exchange stops, and the amount of carbon-14 gradually decreases through radioactive beta decay with a half-life of 5,730±40 years.” en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carbon_dating
As for embryology being in the Qur’an:
Embryology refers to the study of the development [of an embryo] immediately after conception, and therefore the fertilized egg cell (zygote) and its differentiation into tissues and organs during the first 8 weeks… en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Embryology
In order for this to happen, you need a microscope:
…As microscopy improved during the 19th century, biologists could see that embryos took shape in a series of progressive steps, and epigenesis displaced preformation as the favored explanation among embryologists. Ibid.
We can clearly see that what the Qur’an says about how a man is formed is poetry … that is unless you can divine a microscope out of the Qur’an also.

The Quran itself is a form of poetry one of exqusite eloquence. However, God does not need a microscope to know about embryology. Thus he was able to tell Muhammad and us all through his Quran. Our point exactly is the accuracy of this imformation, and how it is one example that proves that this is the word of God. We all know Muhammad did not have a microscope, but knowing you, I’m sure you could find a way to prove that he did right?
