So Christos - which version of the 7 dialect koran is written in the tablets which are with allah?

Quote the koran passage, **show where the koran **states that it is preserved in 7 different dialects

Don’t show me the hadith - but koran only.
The Quran was made widespread in one dialect. However, people still learned the other seven and passed it on, so that when people like you accuse us of the differrences in it, we can show you that no its not changed or different. The Quran however does not state this. Even though the Quran doesnt state this, doesnt mean its not existent.

Now you begin the slippery slope. Many an argument has been made about Ziusudra and the Sumerian tale of the flood that predates the Old Testament. Many have falsely claimed that this means that the Bible was a copy of the Sumerian tale. In fact it is not. Any tale that occurs in any Sumerian book will be the oldest of it’s kind. Why? Because writing was invented at Sumer.

The tales of Noah as Oral Tradition are older than the Sumerian Tales, but all the tale of Ziusudra tells us is that this event in the Bible did occur. As one might expect, all peoples had to then descend from the crew of the Ark and thus would have the cultural memory of the flood.
Its Oral Tradition, how can you proove it? Furthermore, how do you not know that the Sumerian had not just written down these Oral Traditions, and thus the Bible took it from them?

So your admitting the Bible changed to keep up with the language. However, its quite obvious that these are english translations of the Bible. The translations may vary 1 million times if it wants, but the original must not change. Furthermore, the Quran is perfect so it does not need to change. If you want to believe that the Bible was changed, so be it. Majority of the Christian world would disagree. Actually, it is not to fewer and fewer people, because millions of people around the world speak Arabic, and Arabic grammer derives from the Quran because of it’s exquisite and articulate use of language. We take pride in that yes, the true Quran is in Arabic, and no matter how many times you translate it into english or other languages, people will still learn Arabic to understand the original Quran (im talking about the Non-Arab speaking people.) Your areguments here are completely useless.
Many different translations were made, but if someone wants to read the original language of the Bible, they study Koine Greek and ancient Hebrew, as many do at Christian seminaries.

In comparison, there are many translations of the Koran as well - many in English. I’m reminded of that argument Yusuf Estes made in his conversion story where he claimed there were many different Bibles but only one Koran…yes, there are many different TRANSLATIONS of the Bible and only one ARABIC Koran, but there are many TRANSLATIONS of the Koran as well, therefore by Estes’s own logic there is more than one Koran.

You know what’s really hilarious? The flood is recorded in the Koran.

We sent Noah (of old) unto his people, and he said: O my people! Serve Allah. Ye have no other Allah save Him. Lo! I fear for you the retribution of an Awful Day. The chieftains of his people said: Lo! we see thee surely in plain error. He said: O my people! There is no error in me, but I am a messenger from the Lord of the Worlds. I convey unto you the messages of my Lord and give good counsel unto you, and know from Allah that which ye know not. Marvel ye that there should come unto you a Reminder from your Lord by means of a man among you, that he may warn you, and that ye may keep from evil, and that haply ye may find mercy. But they denied him, so We saved him and those with him in the ship, and We drowned those who denied Our tokens. Lo! they were blind folk. [S. 7:59-64]

Recite unto them the story of Noah, when he told his people: O my people! If my sojourn (here) and my reminding you by Allah’s revelations are an offence unto you, in Allah have I put my trust, so decide upon your course of action you and your partners. Let not your course of action be in doubt for you. Then have at me, give me no respite. But if ye are averse I have asked of you no wage. My wage is the concern of Allah only, and I am commanded to be of those who surrender (unto Him). But they denied him, so We saved him and those with him in the ship, and made them viceroys (in the earth), while We drowned those who denied Our revelations. See then the nature of the consequence for those who had been warned. [S. 10:71-73]

I guess Mohammad ripped off the ancient Sumerians too. 🤷

No, if you read the post i was replying to then you will understand what i meant. I know that he is wrong, and i said that even many Christians will agree. Read the post i was replying to.

The question is placed that Quran got its story from the Bible, when we say it was revealed by God. We were just saying that even certain things in the Bible can be found from before its time, does it mean that it plagiarized it???

There is no religion called “Christianity” as our Nicene Creed declares the proper name of the religion founded by Jesus as Church. The true Church is the Roman Catholic Church, as New Testament contains prophecy about Vatican City being the rock that the gates of hades will never prevail against.

All the other Apostolic Sees ( St Andrew’s See in Byzantium, St Mark’s See in Alexandria, and St Thomas See in Babylon ) were conquered by the Islamic armies.
Isn’t it mentioned in the Acts of the Apostles that “Christian” (and by implication, “Christianity”) was first used in Antioch? Also, the “rock” is not the Vatican itself, but (most directly) the man Simon Peter, and thus the Pope. That the Pope’s see happens to be Rome is incidental (but most significant due to Peter and Paul’s martyrdoms there); for some time he was based in France! The gates of Hades will never prevail against the Church, not specifically the “Peter-person” (but then again the Pope is part of the Church). Some may also find the term “Roman Catholic” problematic since there are Catholics who are “non-Roman” or more precisely perhaps, “non-Latin”.

The quran was previously being recited in 7 different dialects, meaning its the same thing, but how some people pronounce tomato (tomayto and tomahto) doesnt mean its diffferent does it?

Tell me which area speaks which dialect? I thought different dialect could also mean different meaning for certain words. It would also lead to confusion right? Because different pronunciation of certain words in Arab, I believe will change the meaning of it totally

The people wrote it in that manner for them selves, not for the whole Islamic world, but in the bible it is written in reverse order for all of the Christian world.

Why did they write a copy of Koran by their own memorization when Uthman was given the authority to produce one single copy? Isn’t that copy should be the source for duplication?

Your experience with working in a group must have been a bad one then. Also, the correction is made based on the Original, not our own opinions. Therefore, even if someone had the loudest voice, even the ones who arent as loud enough woud be saying the same thing. If the person with the loudest voice had made a mistake also, then another person would not let the recitor continue until he has fixed that mistake. The evidence that is has? It’s not evidence it has, because the verses in the Quran were revised by the prophet. Whereas the ones the people were having written themselves were not so it could have had a mistake in it, not saying it did.

What are u saying here? Is my english so bad that I don’t get the point of this compound of words? How is that the correction is made based on the original. Those people had to gather together to make a concensus of what was missing right? so it’s also possible that they altogether could not remember several verses. And it seems to me that they were trying to write down something which was not permittable by Uthman, to make their own copy? And now u’re saying that the prophet revised it? How? He was dead already when the effort of compiling the Koran was being done. Hei…even prophet admitted that he didn’t remember some verses that he already had uttered!

Ah…this is so blatant excuse of hiding behind a “god” that can’t work together with human being. I can also say the same thing to you! The OT was written down by men with the inspiration given by God. U can’t say that they plagiarized those stories!

Christos…
If Muhammad think that by saying that everything that he quoted, came directly from God, then he was having an imagination that God was a mere story teller cum an instructor. It was really-really obvious that he doesn’t have the clue as to what God is and has been to the Jews, the people of the book. Had any of the story that was revealed to Muhammad in Koran ever involved the Arab people? No. Had any of the instruction given to the Arab later on through Muhammad ever been tested and veryfied to be efficient to deal with human’s will? No. Had any account in Koran ever been witnessed by human being, or at least the Arab people who were to accept it? No. So what kind of Allah or god is it that u’re speaking. It is a very curious case!

Tell me which area speaks which dialect? I thought different dialect could also mean different meaning for certain words. It would also lead to confusion right? Because different pronunciation of certain words in Arab, I believe will change the meaning of it totally.
If it was in that form then it wouldnt have been acceptable, would it.

This is in prayers when it is recited, and a person makes a mistake, someone corrects them. They are corrected based on the original text of the Quran, not based on a persons

The prophet revised the original texts which were kept together. Before Uthman, Abu Bakr, had compiled all the texts together binding them in a book. This was later entrusted to Umar, and eventually his daughter Hafsa, the wife of the prophet. When it came time to make copies, Uthman made the copies based on the revised version that Hafsa had. They were written down as each revelation was given. Also, each year, he revised them with the Archangel Gabriel. Therefore, even if he had forgotten a few at the time, they were already written down so it diddnt make much of a difference.

EXACTLY, you cant give a reasoning to us saying trying to prove the Quran is false, when the same reasoning fits your Bible.

Not everything, just the Quran, and a few of the Hadiths, called Hadithe Qudsi. How does he not know, and have no clue. Can you show me? Wow where are you getting all these No’s from. The Quran talks about The Prophet Salih, and Hud, who came to the Arabs. And the Arabs can attest to them also. Yes, they have been tested and verified. Obviously, many of the accounts in the Quran were attested by human beings. Here you go, answering no to all these questions which you yourself pose,

what i find funny is that some moslem’s hold the view that Allah is different from the Christian God.As for the topic above,God’s words are erternal how com mohammed completely reversed many of them. take for example marrying of one wife, in islam you can marry 4 or more. does Allah not see the end from the beginning that such marriages end up without love for some of the wives. Been unable to show love equally will lead one to hell and the Holy Bible says anything that will cause us to sin should be uprooted and that, to burn the originals of Allah’s book is sacreligous and denying people to know Allah’s heart as He intended his words to be.

Many Prophets in the BIble had MANY MANY wives. Soloman had how many? And then your bible comes along and says you can only have one.

Some people can be fair and give each wife their desired share of love and everything else only for them is more than one wife.

**Christos is right, 100%. The catholics have no law about marriages or divorce. King Soloman had 300 wives and 1000 concubines. Nothing is known about the first thirty (30) years of Jesus life from the bible. It is good that Quran does not mention anything bad about any man of God, Joseph son of Jacob, jacob and Issac and Moses and Jesus. But Jesus had said that all who came before him were robbers and decievers. That is in the bibleNT.

Bible also blames the disciples of Jesus horribly that they abused Jesus, cursed him even sold Jesus for thirty coins of silver. The worst of all, bible tells us that all disciples ran away and disappeared when Jesus was arrested. Very bad.

Quran does not approve such things. It says that the disciples were steadfast and they stoodby Jesus. All the dirty things are written in the bibleOT, the Master base book and original of the christians. Our Quran does not support any accusation. Thanks to Allah.

So where did the Quran plagiarise the bibles? At present, the evangelists are trying hard that nobody should read the Quran. The moment any one will get hold of a Quran, he/she will become wiser.**

If it was in that form then it wouldnt have been acceptable, would it…
What do u mean? I don;t get it! I know who u are now, a real example of muslim circular logic. I cannot expect any straight logic with u! Here is ur prev comment:
"Christos:
Seriously, you keep claiming it has been corrupted by man when it hasn’t. The Quran was being recited in 7 different dialects, which have also been preserved.

Christos:

However, people still learned the other seven and passed it on, so that when people like you accuse us of the differrences in it, we can show you that no its not changed or different. The Quran however does not state this. Even though the Quran doesnt state this, doesnt mean its not existent.
So I repeat my prev question: where is this dialect can be found. Don’t the different dialect will make confusion because one will means diffrent with another?

Seems that u think we will be dragged to a twisted logic as urs!
Because there was only one Quran per region, thats why certain people wrote down the verses.
I thought all muslims have already come to the consensus of apologetics by saying that those people were able to memorize them completely without err. So no need to write down. Or if someone was not correct, someone would correct it verbally not by writing it downn. How can u come to the conclusion that there was only one copy of Koran per region. Do u have any back up or is it just ur imagination?😃

And back to my argument, were they not supposed to produce a copy of Koran of themselves? Were they supposed to copy directly from that copy of Koran u said distributed in their region so they didn’t have to rewrite down something totally different or relying on their inaccurate sources?
This is in prayers when it is recited, and a person makes a mistake, someone corrects them. They are corrected based on the original text of the Quran, not based on a persons
I thought my prev comment and so ur subsequent comment should relate to what u posted earlier:

Christos:
If u ask why would someone write down these verses on a certain peice of paper. If I wanted to memorize some verses of the Quran, and lets say i knew these few verses here, but found it hard to memorize or remember this one verse among them i would write it down. Then same thing with another from elsewhere. Majority of these pages found were sigle paged manuscripts. As to why it was cleared with water and rewritte. Also, if a person has finally memorized these verses which he was having trouble on, and there is a scarcity of paper, he would wash the verses away, let the paper dry, and then rewrite. It is as simple as that.

Any proof of this? I believe in the Hadith it is said that it was scatterd and some were missing, so they had to do something to compile that. And if Uthman’s job was to make a copy or the original, why burn the original one? It only means that ur koran u have now is the creation of Uthman which could be greatly possible to be different then what “Gabriel” revised together with Muhammad…right? And why didn’t Gabriel came to Uthman to legalizd that copy?😃

Who is that propeht Salih and Hud? If u don’t mind me enligheten me with the stories of those prophet of the Arab.
How did the Arab attest them? By accepting it was revelation given to Muhammad? How is is tested and verified? Which accounts were attested by human beings if they didn’t experience by themselves rather then accepting it from one mouth?
Please tell me.

The quran was previously being recited in 7 different dialects, meaning its the same thing, but how some people pronounce tomato (tomayto and tomahto) doesnt mean its diffferent does it?
Yes, according to what Muslims claim. If not, just exactly what does “has not changed from the original by a single mark” mean?
The people wrote it in that manner for them selves, not for the whole Islamic world, but in the bible it is written in reverse order for all of the Christian world.
What does this mean?
… Therefore, even if someone had the loudest voice, even the ones who arent as loud enough woud be saying the same thing. If the person with the loudest voice had made a mistake also, then another person would not let the recitor continue until he has fixed that mistake.
The other person would be intimidated to keep silent, and even if he spoke up, he would be put down and told he is wrong. People naturally outwardly agree with the loudest voice out of fear of being ridiculed. I’ve seen it happen over and over all my working career.

Then you have the problem of what a woman remembers vs. what a man remembers. They might differ on what was earlier said exactly, but the man would be right because he’s the man, and a woman’s word is worth only half his. And what if she’s right and he’s wrong? Error has crept in.
The evidence that is has? It’s not evidence it has, because the verses in the Quran were revised by the prophet.
I thought it was not written until after his death.

It sounds to me like you are saying two different things: the Qur’an has not changed, and the Qur’an has changed. This is an example of what Warren called Islamic “dualistic ethics”: two contradictory statements can be right at the same time.

There is no accusaions in my inquiry - you didn’t answer my question

Which version of the koran is preserved with allah?
  1. Surah Al Burooj verse #22
Tafsir: 85:22
That is, "The writ of the Qur’an is unchangeable and imperishable. **It is inscribed in the Preserved Tablet of God. **which cannot he corrupted in any way Whatever is written in it, has to be fulfilled: even the whole world together cannot avert its fulfillment.

There is a hadith which stated:

Narrated Ibn Abbas:

Allah’s Apostle said, “Gabriel read the Qur’an to me in one way (i.e. dialect) and I continued asking him to read it in different ways till he read it in seven different ways.” (Book #54, Hadith #442)

So, which dialect is preserved in the tablet with allah?
