Israel credits Jabari with putting together this network of suppliers and with significantly upgrading Gaza’s offensive capability. Whether someone equally as capable will replace Jabari remains to be seen.
The article also mentions that Egypt couldn’t help but notice the transport of the missiles since they are 20 feet long and hauled on a truck.
Advanced weapons systems were also looted from Libya’s arsenals when Gaddhafi’s government collapsed. Many of these weapons made their way into Gaza. An example, not mentioned in the article, might be the Kornet anti-tank missile which was fired into an Israeli jeep last week and which may have helped to precipitate this current crisis.
