You really should see someone about your attitude issues. You are clearly not here to discuss the topic on hand. Troll?
Actually, if you keep this childishness up, Doctor, I am pretty confident which one of us the moderators will deem to be something like trolling.

Another ad hominem, btw.

Sure. Have a nice life. Not responding further to your immature comments.:sad_bye:

I find it interesting that you bring up Native Americans (or indigenous people, for the more politically correct) as equivalent to the Israelis. Usually the comparison you make is in reverse: that is, White Americans, who pushed Native Americans off their land, are compared to the Israelis who supposedly took the land from the Palestinians. You seem to deflect blame from Caucasians by casting Native Americans as villains while comparing them to Israelis. To take up another point, Israel has already made plenty of concessions, many of which the Palestinian Arab leaders have refused.
In May this year Abbas dismissed a letter from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas suggesting that the two men return to the negotiating table. Hardly made the headlines. It appears that Palestine is doing a better job than Israel in the PR department.

Anonymous,

What is the fault of the innocent Jewish people whom are against their government violence acts!, you have put both good and bad in the same basket!

I had much respect for you in the past, but recently that sword symbol of yours indicate that you have shifted purely to the black hat ethics!

http://forums.catholic-questions.org/images/icons/icon13.gif for you.

It seems to me like Anonymous is guilty of waging the same kind of crusade they claim Israel is carrying out- the difference being that their god is the internet, and any attacks on the sacred internet must be met with indiscriminate retaliation! …of all the golden cows in the world- really? 🤷

They always have a knack for making me facepalm.

Much attention has been given to the Israeli military’s use of social media to put forward its view of the war. Hamas has attempted to do the same, but the IDF is better funded and more sweeping.

As for the stalled negotiations between Israel and the Palestinian Authority, Netanyahu insisted that no preconditions be imposed before the talks resumed. Abbas demanded that Israel first agree to stop building new settlements in the West Bank. This standoff was covered in the news, but perhaps drew little attention since the impasse between Israel and the Palestinian Authority seems like old news at this point.

Okay… back to the topic of this thread! :o

Here is some new news
“We are exacting a heavy price from Hamas and the terrorist organizations and the Israel Defense Forces are prepared for a significant expansion of the operation,” Mr. Netanyahu told his cabinet at its routine Sunday meeting, referring directly to the call-up of thousands of reservists that, coupled with a massing of armor on the Gaza border, many analysts have interpreted as preparations for a possible invasion.
“I appreciate the rapid and impressive mobilization of the reservists who have come from all over the country and turned out for the mission at hand,” he said. “Reservist and conscript soldiers are ready for any order they might receive.”
Mr. Netanyahu’s remarks were reported shortly after a battery of Israel’s “Iron Dome” defense shield, hastily deployed near Tel Aviv on Saturday in response to the threat of longer-range rockets, intercepted at least one projectile aimed at the city on Sunday, Israeli officials said. The episode was the latest of several salvos that have illustrated Hamas’s ability to extend the reach of its rocket attacks.

I have read news reports from several sources which say that neither side wants a ground invasion. I find this credible. Hamas would suffer, as would the people of Gaza. And if Israel had wanted to launch an invasion, they could have done so by now.

I wonder who Anonymous really are. I disagree with the objectives of many of there online attacks, but in fairness, Israel announced they were shutting down the internet in Gaza on November 14, so they may be getting just a tiny taste of what Gaza is getting.

A great deal of attention has been given to Israel’s attack on two Hamas-owned television and radio complexes in Gaza. Here are some more details:
Seven journalists were injured in the first attack, around 1:40 a.m., in the Shawa and Hossari Building in downtown Gaza City, which houses two local radio stations — one run by the militant Islamic Jihad — and the offices of the Ma’an Palestinian news agency as well as the German broadcaster ARD.
The Israeli military referred to the two sites as “Hamas operational communication sites that were identified by precise intelligence.” In the first site, “in order to minimize the damage to non-involved persons, the I.D.F.only targeted the communication devices which were located on the roof of the building, and not the operations room of Hamas that is located on one of the floors.”
“The second site was targeted at approximately 06:50 a.m. and was also part of Hamas’ operational communications that was deliberately located on the roof of the building, in which several international media bureaus reside,” the military said in a statement.

The IDF warned foreign journalists to avoid any Hamas associated properties.

At least Egypt is trying to bring some peace to this situation.

reuters.com/article/2012/11/18/us-palestinians-israel-hamas-idUSBRE8AD0WP20121118
Egyptian President Mohamed Mursi said in Cairo, as his security deputies sought to broker a truce with Hamas leaders, that “there are some indications that there is a possibility of a ceasefire soon, but we do not yet have firm guarantees”.
Egypt has mediated previous ceasefire deals between Israel and Hamas, the latest of which unraveled with recent violence.

How Hamas gets its advanced missiles
Hamas had perhaps 100 of [the Fajr-5 missiles] until the Israeli attacks last week, which appear to have destroyed most of the stockpile. The rockets are assembled locally after being shipped from Iran to Sudan, trucked across the desert through Egypt, broken down into parts and moved through Sinai tunnels into Gaza, according to senior Israeli security officials.
The smuggling route involves salaried employees from Hamas along the way, Iranian technical experts traveling on forged passports and government approval in Sudan, Israeli officials said.
“Both Hamas and Islamic Jihad are building weapons with experts from Iran,” one top security official said Saturday, speaking on condition of anonymity. “What we took care of last night was their own production facility for U.A.V.’s,” he added, referring to unmanned aerial vehicles, or drones. “This was all the work of Jabari, who was a very sophisticated and strategic thinker.”
nytimes.com/2012/11/18/world/middleeast/arms-with-long-reach-bolster-hamas.html?ref=middleeast

Israel credits Jabari with putting together this network of suppliers and with significantly upgrading Gaza’s offensive capability. Whether someone equally as capable will replace Jabari remains to be seen.

The article also mentions that Egypt couldn’t help but notice the transport of the missiles since they are 20 feet long and hauled on a truck.

Advanced weapons systems were also looted from Libya’s arsenals when Gaddhafi’s government collapsed. Many of these weapons made their way into Gaza. An example, not mentioned in the article, might be the Kornet anti-tank missile which was fired into an Israeli jeep last week and which may have helped to precipitate this current crisis.

That’s one long supply route. Lots of places to intercept it.

Personally, I try to be as unbiased as I can, but this news report is quite shocking to me. There is little moral justification for such rogue action regardless of whatever Israel is doing, right or wrong.
I think there’s plenty of “moral justification.” Israel seems to have done it to Gaza first. Better than car-bombing, IMO.

The last bastion of true freedom may very possibly be the Internet.

Never liked Anonymous, always knew it was a Extreme Left-wing anti-Semetic, Fascist terror-group.

I have no respect for a group that bemoans freedom, all the while restricts it for others whom it disagrees with.

From the live blog on the Al Jazeera English website:
Airport sources have confirmed to Al Jazeera that a senior Israeli official has arrived in Egypt on a private jet from Tel Aviv.
Sunday’s short trip will see the official discussing the escalating violence in the Gaza Strip with Egyptian officials in Cairo.
Perhaps hope for a ceasefire?
