No idea in the States, not sure here either. I still support it and think it would be an excellent idea, afterall the public employs democratic leaders and reps and pays their wage. Many jobs these days require medical clearance.

If I were to compare, “it’s great to be in Tampa, Minnesota” to “if you like your plan you can keep your plan”, I would find the latter far more distressing.
Biden’s was a gaffe. Obama’s was a lie.

I would probably need to be American to understand the nuances here.
I can see this being weaponized in about 12 seconds. Here, the left tried to weaponize the 25th amendment in order to execute a coup. The 25th was passed after the JFK assassination to streamline the transfer of power in cases like that.

We even get drug tested as part of pre employment medicals. Some jobs have ongoing drug tests and medicals.
Yes they do. I’m dubious about applying such to elected officials when it could easily be abused on political grounds.
There are posters who claim all kind of maladies for Trump. I don’t see this any differently. Dementia is a medical condition that needs a professional diagnosis. We don’t have that.
