Your wrong. The Jews assimulated very well with society. There were Jewish scientists, docters, teachers, musical composers, etc., etc. Do you know that Hitler put out a list of Jewish composers that Germans were not allowed to listen to anymore? Did you catch that? Anymore?! Germans enjoyed the music of Jewish composers living in Germany and abroad. There were even some non-Jew composers who wanted also to be on that list of composers to avoid, because of how ridiculous the order from Hitler was. They were in some way contributing to it. Hitler was a mad man. His lunacy made him act differently than you and I.
There were millions of Jews in Germany. They did not assimilate. In a nutshell this threatened crackpot like Hitler. The rest was history.
Sure I sympathized with the Jews. But if you were living in a land of others, you have to assimilate; at least be less threatening and be pleasant, so to speak. The post I was commenting earlier on mentioned how the Jews were very exclusive. (My paraphrase). You go and figure.
And in addition to speaking Hebrew, the Jews also spoke the language of the land.
How is that not assimulating?
