It sounds very much like an accusation of uncharitable judgement being used against someone.
There is also a retort back that the judgement applies to Trump as well.

Retort is a fine word and yes, its a fact neither Trump or Biden has an oratory gift that equals that of Obama’s.

The premise of this thread is a news article denigrating the way a political candidate spoke.
That news article is incredibly uncharitable from a Catholic viewpoint.
Even CAF has the rule ‘play the argument, not the messenger’.

We can choose to engage in the gutter level politics of attacking the messenger, or we can reject that and actually look at the politics.
