Kamala Harris Supports ‘Some Type of’ Slavery Reparations

Then how does this system of reparations work? Who gets reparations? Who decides who gets what and for how much? The only way this system could exist in the real world would be along racial lines. Otherwise why would this system of reparations exist?
 
To me this reparation rubbish is just another part of the left leaning socialist victim mentality that seeks to rule society by pitting one group of people against others through creating a false morality.

As a non American I am angered that in all the world, whites in the US were the one people who rose up and fought against the enslavement of another race in their midst to free them and push for acceptance of them as fellow citizens and yet there is the insane forced mentality that we must pretend that they were all slave holders and therefore not just that they were guilty but their children centuries later are guilty and must pay.

That is evil.

About a million whites from Europe were taken as slaves to north Africa and the middle east. If the southern Africans had risen up and fought a war to free them and demand the whites be treated with respect that would be a cause to celebrate these people and laud their courage and moral foresight, not to turn around and somehow blame them because they are also African.

The left leaning identity politics is not moral. It is an evil.

There is an interesting point that is oft overlooked. 360,000 men died to stop slavery so that Kamala Harris can now be a senator.

I don’t think she means it, any more than a lot of the leftist would-be candidates mean everything they say. They’ll get more and more leftist before the primary because primary voters are the most dedicated. Then whoever wins the primary will pretend he/she is “centrist” to fool the rest of the people. But he/she will “owe” the dedicated supporters and “evolve” farther and farther to the left if he/she wins the election.

I had many on both sides… somehow we learned to love and accept each other… and the strength both sides had to live through such horror as war… And I was taught to love all my brothers and sisters of all colors… Let us pray that people can love one another…
 
I worked in an inner-city school in a southern state and my Principal was a wonderful black lady and there were many black teachers and support personnel. We worked as a team and helped each other where our goal was providing quality education to all students. Everyone seemed satisfied with their standing in life and school and the community. I guess I lived in a bubble… it wasn’t that long ago.

People who suggest that are those demanding that people of a certain race be made to pay reparation for slavery.

The concept of financial reparation carries with it the notion of being liable due to past guilt.

The other alternative is for the government (all US taxpayers) to pay the reparation. Didn’t the US government fight a war to end slavery? Why would they pay again? So, it must be the color of skin…

Does you definition of “MSM” include Fox, which clearly is also part of MSM?

I don’t trust any one source, which is why I bracket what I read and hear from numerous sources, even including Fox btw.
 
She doesn’t have to say it, that’s how it would work. Otherwise why would we even be discussing “reparations?”
 
The discussion surrounding reparations for black people in the US almost always without fail revolves around expecting everyone to pay money to people almost 2 centuries after the fact

Literally none of my ancestors succumbed to the temptation of Satan in the Garden, yet my family has to pay for the disobedience of something someone else’s ancestors did because we look like them by being created in the same image of God? Was my baptism necessary?

The fall is inclusive of all mankind. It doesn’t play identity politics by favouring one group over another based on race.
 
What’s interesting is that surveys on the subject indicate it’s only supported by 60% of blacks, which is far below the number which already vote democratic.
