That’s why I went to the Parish website to see what it said. Less bias there.I think there are alot of parishes with support groups such as what you describe and I think they are wonderful things. However, having been made familiar with the previous work of the Huffinton Post, I find it rather unlikely that they would be inclined to describe any group as accepting toward gay people that did not accept the gay lifestyle as moral.
It looks to me like they’re trying to evangelize to the gay community and are being careful not to violate Church teaching but be gentle enough so the folks who need them the most won’t run away before even giving it a chance.
It’s a tough line to walk, because they will get accused of being too “soft” on the sinners. However, if they are leading people to God so He can change their hearts, who are we to condemn them? If even one person chooses to follow Jesus because of what they’re doing, I would rejoice.
