Coincidentally, I just found a bunch of ants in our kitchen.

I’m not planning to catch and release them. 😑

Lice? Fleas? Bedbugs? Mosquitoes? Flies? Wasps? Other assorted creepy crawlies?

No bueno.

I always hated the centipedes that run around my house, scaring the snot out of us. But then I learned they eat all the nasty bugs and I like them a lot better and try not to kill them. Same with the daddy-long-legs. 😆

We moved a couple of years ago. That first summer, there were so many spiders. 😱 Last year and this year, I’ve taken to spraying around the base of the house outside once a month or so. Now, I almost never see any spiders or other bugs. Except for ants apparently. Maybe the spiders had previously kept the ants at bay…

Just curious, where do you let them go?
Why, the neighbors yard, of course! 😁

Not really, the pack rat I let out in the desert near here and the mouse I felt sorry for and let him out in my back yard. As long as I keep my bird food put away the mice stay outside.

Just found this little guy…

He looks like the poor little chump we killed. Arrest me. I’m guilty of murder in the first degree. Motive? He refused to pay rent or leave. I had no choice.

Well ,you can alway catch and release elsewhere if it worries you so,depending where you live GC 🙂

Was that a field mouse Cruciferi? It looks different to a common household mouse .

I just put this out yesterday. I was getting ready to start a thread on Japanese Beetles when I came across this thread.

A good cat would do.

My late cat took care of the occasional mouse, cockroach, centipede, scorpion and spider. I would just point out the offending pest and he would be on it.

I miss him.

Did you really take this picture? On the occasions when we’ve had mice in the garage, they certainly didn’t hang around to have their picture taken. They were mostly a blur as they scurried for a new hiding spot.

And, cute or not, if it’s in the garage or house, it’s vermin. 👿

Must be quite young, not yet wary of the world, photogenic and knows it. Otherwise he would pass up the opportunity for a photograph. Young field mice these days.

A close encounter of the owl 🦉 kind will cure him of naïveté. 🙂
