I know there’s history between the Church and Masons. But can’t you be a catholic and a member for the masons? My ex business parter is both.

You can’t be a Mason and a Catholic, if your business partner is both, someone should inform him he really isn’t. I mean the Catholic Church isn’t going to wiretap your phone or seize Mason membership records and forbid you from entering the Church. But membership in the Mason’s puts one outside the Catholic Church and they are cut off from the sacraments until they repent and renounce their membership.

Good point actually Valke2. Even if kramer here is a baptized Catholic- or whatever the heck he is, if he is a Mason he just gave up Catholic status.

So now it further confuses the issue as to what his religion is.

But- We are not confused as to what a racist he is.

He’s been a freemason for several years. I’m sure he knows whatever info you have. He’s more of a lapsed catholic.

THe history Valke2 speaks of is the reason I think we should not go there.

Its been blurry in the past at best.
 
How come black comedians can say that stuff all the time with no problem? Like the N word. I think that if white people can’t say it, neither can black people. I think the word is bad. Period. Not just if a white guy says it.

ok. I’m not familar with the right terms. I meant that he is not a practicing Catholic. He married a non-catholic and I know he wanted to have his baby baptized but lost that argument.

Yes, Kramer must give a heartfelt apology to the blacks, Mel Gibson must give a heartfelt to the Jews, which will be followed by heartfelt apologies to all Catholics for the continued bashing of our priests, nuns, and our church. Then we will have heaven on earth. (Don’t hold your breath)
 
I wonder if Joan Rivers will want want to snuff out Michael Richards as she said the same regarding Mel Gibson.
 
We should pray for Michael Richards and others who are public figures, that God’s mercy would shine upon them and they may repent of their wrong doings and avoid sinning in the future. Only Christ can heal what is troubling him and bring peace into his heart.
