Giver:
You say people have shown me where I am Scripturally off, well show me where I said anything that isn’t word for word, in the Bible, if you can.
Okay, since you asked for it.
You said that prior to Pentecost Peter only new that Jesus was a “special man” and that he didn’t know him as God. We hammered that nonsensical statement with Matthew 16:16-17 which says:
" Simon Peter replied, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” And Jesus answered him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jona! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.”
I could go on and on but you should simply try doing what everyone has suggested to you. Go back and read all of the treads you started and carefully read all of the refutations given to you. So far it appears that you absorb very little of what is said to you.
I also recommend that you read John Chapter 17 and also consider all of the following:
Eph 4:1-5
I therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, making every effort to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope of your calling, one Lord,
one faith, one baptism,
Phi 1:27
Only, live your life in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that, whether I come and see you or am absent and hear about you, I will know that you are standing firm in one spirit, striving side by side with** one mind** for the faith of the gospel,
Phi 2:1-2
If then there is any encouragement in Christ, any consolation from love, any sharing in the Spirit, any compassion and sympathy, make my joy complete: be of the
same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind.
After having read John 17 and the above quotes, please try to see and explain how your going it alone and developing your own doctrines helps unite you to the one church which is the body of Christ.
