But that is not what Trump talked about, He talked about throwing himself onto women.
He talked a women who let you do it, and how he “just starts kissing them” BUT they let you do you it because when you’re rich they let you do anything. He didn’t talk about women he’s thrown himself on or sexualy assaulting anyone. Is someone “throwing themselves” on someone if someone LET’S YOU do it, that’s new to me…

He does not wait for what? You just filled in the blank with your own imagination.
I insert ellipses to contract the quote. I am not imagining anything. Just his highlighting his lack of gaining consent.
The statement is ambiguous.Nice try, but sexual assault is defined by the USC, UCMJ and state statute. That blurb from the Obama DOJ has no legal authority to guide a jury in determining what is and is not sexual assault.
Oh great. I suppose we will have a lot to talk about when the Trump DOJ alters the :blurb" on sexual assault.

It’ still wrong whether someone ‘let you’ or not though I think.

I hope this has helped

No evidence of that. He never said what he was not waiting for. You assumed it.

Such as?

“Kiss” covers a lot of territory, but the context here is beyond doubt sexual.
“Letting” is after the fact. It is unknown at the time of aggressive behavior.
And who is “they”. Are we going to have another round of groupie talk?
The women who came forward didn’t seem to be groupies, just people that he felt he could be aggressive with because he is Trump.

Please stop enabling this behavior.

“I’ll reiterate it’s not a disgusting comment at all, especially in comparison to the things said at the March.”

You are wrong my comment above. My comment was not used to justify it with the things being said at the March. In fact my quote above was my second response to someone stating my comment was disgusting. You took one statement of mine and are trying to make it seem like I am trying to make an argument about my comment vs. the things said at the March. I’m not and it’s a distraction from the main points in my comments. I clearly outlined in my postS the behavior of these women at the March. I initially attributed their behavior to women who are PMSing in a single sentence post. As a Registered Nurse Practitioner their behavior in all honesty was not far off from unbalanced hormonal PMSing women. Of course the comment was dry humor, but what is really humorous is some people being so bent by it yet so silent on the vial comments and behavior of the women and some of the celebrities at the March. The irony, eh?
??? Someone told you your comment was disgusting and you responded with that, yes? That’s kind of my point…both comments can be disgusting. Instead of asking why your comment was wrong and apologizing, you started talking about what the others are doing. I think a lot of us agree with you that the women there were not a shining example of womanhood. We just don’t like that you attribute it to PMS.

Well, obviously I would point out that your comment was totally uncalled for because you are here. If someone here were to make a vulgar comment like the women there, posters here would call her out too…do you really expect us to ring up all of these women and tell them that they are being disgusting or? Not being snarky, I genuinely want to know your point. I’m addressing you personally because I’m able to, no point whining about those other women because they won’t be reading it here, it would simply just be me venting, not trying to tell them why they are wrong.

Not necessarily, people communicate in different ways besides contracts written in lawyers with witnesses present. Implication is possible, no?

At least one of those women was connected to the Clinton Foundation. As for the rest, innocent until proven guilty. “He said, she said” is not sufficient evidence you know it.

Like most of Trump’s bragging, his loutish boast was not intended to be taken seriously, nor was it. Far from whipping out his pencil and carefully taking notes, Billy Bush laughed, where is the outrage from women on Billy Bush laughing? The gist of what Trump was saying is that – hold onto your hats – women like to sleep with celebrities.

These people outraged at Trump’s comments are the same ones who ran interference for an actual sexual predator in the White House, ignoring Bill Clinton’s serial pants-dropping, groping and raping for nearly a decade, while gleefully vilifying his accusers, and would have been happy to continue if Bill Richardson had become president. Clinton talking about pssy was one of his more dignified moments, proudly attested to by his friend Vernon Jordan in a nationally broadcast interview with Mike Wallace. In the pages of The New York Times, feminist icon Gloria Steinem even announced theone-free grope rule, specially developed for the Clinton era. Former Time magazine correspondent Nina Burleigh said of Clinton, "I would be happy to give him a blw job just to thank him for keeping abortion legal.”

I guess some would prefer if Trump drop his drawers and had sex in the oval office like Bill did or if he actually raped women? Where were some of these women when this was revealed?

It’s alright for liberals (dems) to have sex in the office but it’s unacceptable to talk about sexual acts, before you run for office? Go figure. These women demonstrate why liberal attitudes are more prejudice than conservative ones. At least we’re back to the pretending to care about sexual assault – until further notice…Some of the same celebrities and women that are pretending to consider the use of a bad word equivalent to rape don’t care about real rape, real sexual assault, real whoring, even real homicide, depending on who did it.

That wasn’t what I just responded with, you can go back and read my posts. In my opinion dry humor and sarcasm with a one sentence posts is not trying to overly equate something with something else, it’s a simple observation. Not sure where you are getting that I expect people to ring up all of these marches and tell them they are wrong…We are just going to have to agree to disagree here with your thoughts vs mine on whether or not it was a vulgar statement. I just totally disagree it was simply dry humor - take it or leave it.

Of course. Even if there is evidence of assault, to prove beyond reasonable doubt is hard in these cases. But the difficulty in establishing proof doesn’t change what is or what is not assault.

In a court of law and in the context of sexual assault? I don’t think it is…
Maybe, but their is a higher court we adhere to as Christians. I supported Trump & Pence, and am very glad they were voted in over Clinton, but we can’t try to justify the unjustifiable, it wasn’t good and I am glad Trump was ashamed of that tape and apologized for it.

I hope this has helped

Exactly.Hecapologized for his words, unlike BC who just denied everything until the little blue dress.Even then,I don’t Remeber him ever apologizing.Time to move on.Really, this is all the left has so they need to keep harping on it.

The main thing at stake for me, was not so much who did this or that, or what about Bill Clinton etc, but what their policies were and what they planned to do should they be elected. And I found Trump & Pence to be more in line with Christ and Catholic teaching than Clinton, all that tried to suggest otherwise I found was just smoke and mirrors and diversion tactics.

I hope this has helped

OK so he a liar who boasts emptily of sexual prowess. How presidential.

Actually just the opposite is true. The people who were shocked, shocked by BC, are dreamily dismissive of Trump - who has the deviance to be public with his vulgarity with TV and radio interviewers and cannot bring himself to speak with a contrite heart.

I am not sure who might have voted for BC after the facts became clear. But the simple reality is no one did.

Ahh,thank you for making my point.Yes it is disgusting that men may talk this way. However,if any of these women ,marching en masses for equal rights and respect, talk in just as filthy a manner, name their headgear after the filthy name that offends them, what other conclusion is there to be made about them?
You keep reverting to a tu quoque appeal – “they did it (or worse) so whatever has been said here is okay.” That’s just false. I’ve drawn conclusions about the marchers and their behaviors. Now I’m speaking about the claim that they must have been “PMSing” to act as they did. Again, it’s a disgusting assumption. Disagree all you want with the marchers – I have as well. But don’t stoop to their level by justifying sexist language.

Yes, and I already told you where you can find the actionable definitions of sexual assault. Now come back when you can prove that Donald Trump’s actions satisfies the elements of the relevant definition.

On the nose, Lea.
