And I found Trump & Pence to be more in line with Christ and Catholic teaching than Clinton, all that tried to suggest otherwise I found was just smoke and mirrors and diversion tactics.

Exactly.President Trump with all his flaws has had the insight to surround himself with good solid people.Mike Pence,Kelly Anne Conway,Fr.Frank Pavone is part of his prolife advisory along with Franklin Graham and others.To me ,this was very encouraging in terms of my vote.
Conversely HC had chosen a Catholic VP but one that was in direct conflict with the Church on a myriad of issues…

Wow, even Father Frank Pavone is not safe from censure. Amazing.
 
I couldn’t help but see some of the coverage of it. I left my bath, didn’t even bother to dress, just wrapped my towel around me, hair wrapped up in another towel, and thought I would just sit in my living room and relax for a while, and I had to start my day with this! Not good. I screamed at the tv for a while, before I then tried to calm down. I almost smashed the screen in.
Disgusting. Vulgar. Vile. All of this, ladies, does not show that your mind and heart is on the real respect and dignity of women. Your cat hats don’t show that you enjoy being a woman at all, and only show your thinly veiled, bitter, deepseeded hatred of your womanhood. It is a nasty as hell insult to women everywhere. I would think ANY woman would find it offputting. VERY offputting.
After I saw this, I actually took another bath because I felt their slime and muck all over me.

Did I say Mike Pence was a Catholic?I said good solid people.He is a pro life Christian…Fr.Pavone heads Priests forvLife.KellyAnne Conway a devout Catholic.As far as I know his bishop had concerns that this ministry was taking him away from his other duties.He is a good and faithful priest and a voice for the unborn,Are you insinuating otherwise?

Honest question. I googled and found that he is being investigated by his own bishop, and had also been criticized by other bishops. Presumably this is not news to those who think that his connection to Trump is worth mentioning.

Not that this dismisses is comments as being vulgar especially for a 70 year old man, but it’s not sexual assault. I’m a women in my early 30’s and I have friends who are rich and professional athletes. I’ve been out with them and the things women let rich men/athletes do to them can be outright disgusting and exactly what Trump said. Unfortunately our society today is like this, but a lot of these celebrities complaining about it are the same ones contributing to this sex driven society. I mean Ashley Judd said “we’re not for grabbing”, yet look at some of the movies she’s been in. She sure didn’t mind getting grabbed then…

Trump has also apologized for his comments for us to judge the sincerity of that apology is wrong and not up to us.

I think people who leave the Catholic church are not solid. I leave the judgment of “good” to higher authority.

Mike Pence is a good solid Christain .unlike HC choice for VP Tim Kane.Catholic in name only.If you can’t see the difference between the two ,it’s because you don’t want to acknowledge my point. Who are you to judge Mike Pence ?What an uncharitable statement to say he isn’t a solid person because he no longer practices his a catholic faith.His actions show him to be a good and decent man.
Re Fr.Pavone,he is very ardently prolife.zhis measures may be extreme for some but he cares that much about the unborn.
In the end you will find fault with everyone and anyone surrounding President Trump

There was an interesting piece from a professor from Catholic University regarding the differences between Pence and Kaine. I’ll try to find it. It’s a good read.

Honest questions:

What exactly does it mean to be Catholic? Does it mean you say you’re Catholic? You attend Catholic mass on a regular basis? Where does believing in Church teaching fit in? If one is Catholic for an hour on Sunday but repeatedly lives out a witness that is in defiance of several Church teachings during the week, is that person a solid Catholic?

As I said, Pence’s quitting the Catholic church makes me see him as not solid, but wobbly and unfaithful. I admit that I would be interested in knowing his reasons for leaving the faith. I leave the question of whether he is good to higher authority.

I note that the assistant research professor feel comfortable in weighing in on who is a better Catholic. He is entitled to his opinion, but is way out of his areas of expertise, and undercuts his scholarship with pieces like this.
